'15 FL FB/ATH Chandler Cox

Cox is a football playin' MFer. He can excell at TE, FB, LB, etc.

He led APK to state final as the QB when Darlington got lit up and had to miss Yhe season.

He's a winner and a leader. Has the ability to be a 'Brian Leonard' like RB from Rutgers or an ' Aaron Hernandez' style TE

Yeah, that is one way to describe Chandler! If you look "football player" up in the dictionary, Chandler's picture is there. He is not a 5-star at any position, but he is outstanding at everything. He could literally play any position in high school football. And he would give 110 percent effort in college if you told him to play OL or DL.

He's a great football player, but he's also an outstanding young man. He took my daughter to the high school homecoming dance in 2012. They didn't date very long, but for me to allow him to take my daughter anywhere can guarantee you that he is a fine young man.

I would love for the Vols to land Chandler Cox, but I think he'll more likely end up elsewhere in the SEC. I haven't spoken with Chandler lately about his recruiting, but everything I'm hearing is that Auburn is leading. Down here (behind enemy lines), Florida is also a major factor. UT TE coach Mark Elder was at practice today and is really staying on Chandler.

Whatever team gets him will be happy they did. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised to see Chandler playing on Sundays. He's just that kind of football player.

Ahh yes. Related to Chandler Tyson who plays for the Chicago 76ers if memory serves me right. If he's half the player his brother is he will dominate The touchdowns.

Similar player to Trey Burton maybe a little more physical and not as fast, but he can play anywhere on the field

Toby comparison doesn't seem that far off.. Hester guy outta lsu has my vote tho.

I agree. I think Chandler is much like Jacob Hester. He's just a football player you can plug in anywhere and he will get the job done.

If this guy is on Toby's level then he could be solid in the rb rotation. People forget how good Gerhart was. Big back with some speed. If he's that good, I hope we get him. :)

Committed to Auburn.

Commitment was damn inconvenient too. He did not attend Big Cat Weekend and bagman was all set in Auburn. Quick jet trip to Florida had to be made and return quickly to Auburn for remainder of weekend payouts. :hi:

No worries. Jase has FB handled for us.

Cox is 6'1 225 and runs a 4.7. Scholarship.

Jase is 6'1 230 and runs a 4.71. Also bench 405, squat 550. Oh, and he walked on. :loco:

If he was the least likely to end up elsewhere, I'd hate know what's going on with those other dudes...

It's May. Also Cox said in update he'll camp at UF. Not over yet. Smart choice imo...great offense for him.

Per his high school policy, once you commit, you're committed. No decommits

lol The only thing his coach can do is stop other schools from visiting him at AHS. Nothing more. If Cox decides to visit or camp his coach has 0% say.
