If UF makes a quick decision on a new coach after the FSU game they could upset some apple carts at other SEC schools, especially if they make a high impact hire.

I haven't actually paid much attention to anyone's commit list other than our own. What's your feel on how many of UF's recruits are committed to the school, and how many are committed to the staff? Do you expect a lot of defections if/when Muschamp gets fired?

Thomas and Baker were Muschamp guys. Imo the 9 commits are solid. Mike Horton is s Ga kid that Ga could offer late and he'll most likely flip if that happens.

Sweet is a project but could be really good by his 3rd year in college (redshirt). But I do not think Florida is where he signs. Too many problems there right now. Likely coaching change coming.

He's committed to UNC so a potential coaching change isn't that big a factor.

UNC won't fire Fedora this year. He will decommit from UNC because of potential probation. Has nothing to do with a coaching change. Most of that was under Butch Davis. Fedora is about as good as it gets for UNC.

Sweet is from Jacksonville, right? Did he grow up a gator fan? If he did, I doubt a coaching change will impact his decision too much. From having lived in Jacksonville when I was younger, I can tell youu for the most part there were two types of fans there. Gator fans, or Dawg fans. Of course, that was a long time ago, so there's a good chance it's changed, but back then, you were diehard one way or the other.

I don't see how some people fail to see this. In fairness, I'm pretty sure Butch had 3-4 on offense as well. Facts are, we had a much deeper team, and a NFL line. Butch had very little chance of walking into Neyland and pulling an upset. I don't even get the argument that Dooley beat Butch? WTF does that even matter at this point? Butch is 100x the coach Dufus was, and everyone seams to love Butch when they meet him. I think his personality and down to earth approach really appeals to recruits. Im a huge fan of Butch. I couldn't be happier with the steps we are making as a team. He'll get us turned around.

Dooley was mainly concerned about shower and hair habits. I do suspect that his mother likes him, not sure if anyone else does. I've not heard of a single UT player that liked him, although some that are still there that played for him haven't made a comment yet. Former players despised or hated him. What he did to Tennessee will end up having a 3-5 year impact on the teams ability to win. I want to throw up every time I hear his name.

I sure hope CBJ was able to make some progress with Sweet last weekend. An additional OT in this class would really help. Adding Sweet and Allen would make the 2015 class 6 OL recruits. We need this additional depth.
