'15 Fl QB Deondre Francois

Francois is the most game ready qb IMO this year that is a realistic possibility. He's better IMO than anyone we have committed better than anyone we're in on as well. Dormady and Jennings have high potential but Francois is better right now IMO. I would take him over Jones and its not close IMHO. St Louis is just even more incentive there as well.

I think from a pure passing, accuracy and decision making Dormady is the more ready of anyone we are in on. Jennings is nowhere close. I wouldn't be upset with Francois or Jones. Some guys is doesn't effect but Francois isn't ideal height but again that doesn't always mean anything. As far as arm strength I think Dormady and Francois are on the same level but Francois tends to struggle with accuracy and god knows we have seen plenty of that the last two yrs. But I also know in HS the talent or lack ofof can effect accuracy, int's and can force things so I tend to not put much stock in it. And I have paid attention to Dormady a lot more obviously because he committed and don't know as much about Jones or Francois and what talent they have around them. But for Dormady to have the stats he had this yr with absolutely no help or talent at WR and no oline is remarkable. I know what I have read on Jones is if it was any other yr he would be even higher ranked in Cali but they have sn unbelievable amount of QB talent this yr out there. But is pass first and run when he has to do it and can make all the throws. Doesn't have the arm Dormady or Francois does though. But more I have heard on Francois and supposedly is pass first as well and has a great arm the more I like him. I was afraid he was run first but hell Dormady had the same yards rushing as him. So really sounds like Francois could be listed as a Prostyle. I really don't understand how they fully decide is a guy is DT or Prostyle. Winston was a DT and he doesn't run often and is an unbelievable passer. But Dobbs was a prostyle and atleast right now is a better runner than passer. Then we have Dormady who is a Prostyle who is pass first and is a great passer with a great arm but had as many rushing yards as one of the top DT QB's. Now Jennings I see as a true DT. He runs much better than he passes, atleast right now but do realize he really is just learning how to play QB but most guys that evaluate for a living see him as having NFL type potential at Safety. Would love to know exactly how they determine the difference in DT and prostyle, doesnt seem to have much consistency to it.

Didn't Dormady have like 50 INTs this year?

Ignore that guy, he thinks jamies winston came out of high school as a Defensive Tackle.

D.A** that was DT as in Dual Threat QB.Anything else? Obviously football terminology isn't a strong suit of yours. They got college football for dummies books, I suggest picking one up.

He had 15 or 16 but if you have no Oline, short receivers, lost his one decent WR, had to throw it 45+ times a game so yea int's will happen when you have one guy trying to do it all he will force things. Int's isn't a concern. Not to mention he missed a full yr and threw a lot of those earlier in the yr when he was getting back into football shape. That's why I said stats don't always tell everything. Francois barely hit has his passes but he may have not had much help, I dunno. Plus he only averaged around 13 passes a game so they may have really good RB's or absolutely little WR talent.

Great break down and remember Francois was Dilfer's guy at the Elite 11 and out performed the pack in all areas. I know shorts and t-shirts mean nothing when the pads go on but he sure did look the part

Oh wow I didn't know that about Francois. But honestly haven't followed him because I didn't think he could be an option. I know based off stats you can't tell much but is this guy an elite type QB, especially in the pass game? I mean I think Dormady is a great fit for the offense and guessing the Coach's too since they wanted him. Is Francois an even better or they pretty similar as far as overall QB's?

Not really sure I just know there could be a injury to Dormady and it s supposedly the same or similar to what he had surgery for. I've asked a coach and got no response.

Yea someone had posted it was scar tissue on his non throwing shoulder but no clue if that's accurate. There is no doubt we gotta bring in a third QB either by recruiting or a transfer. I don't trust Dobbs yet.

Yea no s*** it means Dual Threat, sarcasm isn't a strong suit of yours I suppose. Very good joke on my account though :eek:lol: :eek:lol: , I loved variations of that joke when I was in 3rd grade....best three years of my life.

Oh I have a great sense of humor and am the biggest smarta$$ you will meet. But that didn't come off as sarcasm in the least but if it was my bad and keep them coming lol.and sixth grade would have been mine, damn I had the hottest teacher ever in sixth.. would still be in that class if they woulda let me

Man I hope Butch is really going after this guy.

Sounds like he is going after him and Jones, especially with Francois visiting next month. Him recruiting a third QB pretty much says Peterman is gone I believe. If he is gone and there are no transfer options he has no choice but to bring in a third QB, which I'm sure he hadn't planned on doing earlier in the season.

So jones has lined up a visit?

With Francois he has. It's the 16th or 23rd of Jan . Will have to look at the visit thread to remember which wknd it is..Not positive if Sheririon Jones has set up a visit but would imagine he will if we are his leader as he said.

Oh I knew about the Francois visit with Tyree St. Louis but I thought you were talking about Sheriron setting up a visit.

My eyes just lit up when I read that we're getting a visit. Francois has been my favorite QB in this class all along. Russell Wilson clone. Want all day.

He apparently told his local newspaper that he was going to FSU on the 16th. We will have to wait and see where he end up.

That may end up being true, but Jones and Bajakian have made it clear from the very beginning that they want 5 scholarship QB's on the roster. We have 2 right now. Dormady makes 3 and Jennings makes 4(assuming he sticks there), Francios or Jones would make 5.

As far as visit dates are concerned, it is my understanding that Jones, Francios, St. Louis and Kahlil McKenzie will all be making their officials on January 16th. Obviously, this could change, I would be surprised if we had both QB's visit on the same weekend.
