I think it's fine to follow recruits on twitter as well. I would just rather see fans not actually tweet those recruits at all. If they decide they can't fight the urge, a "go vols" or something simple like that should be all they do. IMO no fan should ever actually engage a recruit in conversation on twitter. They are not your friend. They are not your buddy. A lot of the same fans who claim they would never say anything negative to a recruit so twitter is ok, are the same ones bashing the recruit when things don't go the home teams way. Best to just not do it at all IMO.

I haven't posted in his thread all that much. But I just think it's silly how obsessed the "Gibsonites" are over him and yet still refuse to look at things (re: numbers, etc) rationally. I think I've said before that if he does end up a Vol, I'll be happy- although no more happy for him than I am for anyone else in the 2015 class. But I couldn't really care any less right now. The entertainment in this thread mostly comes from people getting all too worked up over the ones saying "let's be realistic here...." I mean, come on...

Yep haven't we heard a million times that we are only taking two QBs? Guess what, we have two QBs. TG wants to play QB and that's understandable but it wouldn't have been here. Even if our own recruits still were publicly trying to get him here I felt like we should have understood this.

The only thing to do is don't go look at them. They are making some stupid comments. Best to just look away...

"Good" is a relative term. They play no one. They went up against 2 good teams all last season and lost to both of them. One being a Clemson team that got annihilated by South Carolina.

Ohio State MAY have gotten 8 wins with our schedule last year, I'm leaning more towards 7.
