When it was all done, gibson – a standout from fort lauderdale (fla.) american heritage high school -- walked out of ohio stadium almost arm in arm with osu head coach urban meyer. They parted company, but it was clear that ohio state had made an impression on gibson.

Urban has a thing for qb's and it is creepy.

This kid will push for playing time where ever he goes. I hope he lands at UT but if he does not I hope he stays out of the Sec. I think this kid has potential to be a heisman candidate before his college career is over. He already has a chip on his shoulder by national people saying he is better suited as an athlete than a qb and therefore I think he will tear it up in college and prove alot of people wrong. Imo he would push for qb time here.

I know how that read, but I assumed he just meant his top 5 or whatever list he just released would stay his top 5 no other schools would get in and those would be the ones he would official to.

Surely he didn't actually mean it like it read.

Am I the only one that hates seeing this thread at the top of the page? The sooner this falls to page 2 and doesn't come back, the better IMO

Tennessee passed on the kid a while ago. OSU is his most attractive offer who looks like they may be willing to take him now. Probably be a good idea if the kid would go ahead and commit before one of OSU's other QBs they are considering takes that spot.

Are you nuts? TG is Butch Jones #1. CBJ is pressing big time for the 5* future Heisman winner. CBJ would trade Williams and McKenzie for TG today in a heartbeat. CBJ would also dump QD & JJ if TG would just promise to be a Vol. The whole Vols coaching staff is sleeping in a tent on TG's front lawn. I don't know where you're getting your info from, but you crazy!

I had felt that way for a while. Not sure if the coaches can really tell a recruit who to focus on though. Kahlil seems to be tweeting some kids who have very little if any shot of being a Vol. Probably better if he focuses on the 5-6 kids who are likely in play for the last few spots.
