I'm not familiar with you as a poster and there are so many Gibson apologists in this thread that have said similar things and they weren't being sarcastic. :hi:

All the fans I know in Knoxville listen to TSR. You have to have your head in the sand if you think he is fishing for ratings. Ainge ain't the most mature person on the radio but he sure beats state ran radio.

SIAP, but I heard on TSR this morning while driving to work that Gibson has been passed over by us, Ohio State, and Auburn. Ainge also stated that Gibson is tweeting kids to not come to those schools. Is this true? I know Ainge can get butthurt on some things (especially when it involves QB's) so I wanted to check here first before believing it.

Home Depot parking lot. Roll up there in a Uhaul or a Ryder rental truck. You have to fight them off with a stick. When I hire some "help" for a day, I always say the same thing. "If you can't speak English, I can't use you". Thins out the crowd a little bit. I can't complain about the value of the work for my dollar. It's a good way to get things done quickly.

Two things:
1. Ainge doesn't know anything for sure, yes he has connections but he's hearing from someone who heard who heard through the grapevine. I also bet he makes up 75% of info he spews out.
2. There was never a b-day party in Knox planned. That was a joke on twitter. Not sure if some of you guys thought that was serious or not, but it seems that way by a few comments.

Well I would've loved to have the kid but no one can say the staff didn't give him his chance and put in work on him.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but there is a rumor that Gibson has a "handler" that is asking teams for money on visits. Kind of like a De'Vinner situation.

If true, Gibson needs to cut ties with him immediately. it isn't worth throwing away stardom so your street agent can try and squeeze money out of college programs.

Programs will make the NCAA aware of that and anyone taking him will be scrutinized.

EDIT: Unless it is Bama.

Didn't he basically have to beg to get a ride here and end up taking a ride from a couple of strangers. So if he does have one he should go down in history as the worst handler ever

What was the source on this? The reason I ask is a poster on VQ was claiming the same thing yesterday and all but admitted he didn't have a legitimate source. Basically it was made up. I'm all about being fair and think it is not right to create or perpetuate rumors that have no basis. Not saying this is the case, but I would love to know who is reporting this.

I just dont see how we could go from full throttle to less than a crawl in less than a week. Either some news has been kept quiet or somebody is shoveling crap.

And this is why I never fully got onto the Gibson train. Too much drama and not worth the time, IMHO. Nothing against the kid because he is athletically gifted that's for sure. But, we have Dormady. Hubb's stated it is Jefferson or bust at WR. I believe we are good.
