No, here is what happened…. some idiot took both Calllahna's and Hubbs comments and added his own commentary to theirs. He added that Gibson had a handle who had his hands out for more money and then added in the GPA and behavior issues.

Hubbs nor Callahan never said anything like that and that is all that is being walked back.

Both guys are still standing by what they actually stated.

I'll disagree.. I think they both could do well in the system from what I've seen.. And u really don't know how much more accurate QD is than TG, so stop acting like it, poser.

When Gibson says with are #1- people believe him
When Gibson says he is isn't scared off by QD- people believe him
When Gibson says anything positive about UT- people believe him

When Gibson says UT has backed off of him- people go running to the first insider that says we didn't.

I'm only commenting on the latest information available.

When the rumor first grew legs, I posted about it. Now that the legs are being sawn off, I'm only pointing that out.

Your observation works both ways though.

That post wasn't directly solely at you. There are many people here that are very happy after hearing/reading reports of that latest radio interview. (I will leave me personal take on the interview out of this) So they will choose to believe that interview over what TG has said himself.

I do not recall reading a single post that questioned if TG was honest about us being his #1, or being scared off by the Dormady commitment. Only questions about whether or not he was a take after we have 2 QB commits.

I know it Tennkook, but since I have made recent comments, I wanted to clarify.

Why should the comments made earlier, about the cooling of his recruitment, be believed over the most recent comments made in the radio interview?

They obviously knew about the rumors and the interview was made, in part, to address them.

It's the most recent information available about the situation, but I am sure there will soon be more. The way this has gone, we'll probably see back-and-forth reports until NSD.

Because on was confirmed by TG, and the other was not. Insider may he from UT staffers that they are or are not cooling on TG. But when TG says it, you have to believe him. Whether or not that is UTs intention, in TG's world they are cooling on him.

As I posted when it happened, Bartow followed an Ohio State insider who was explaining why the Buckeyes "have backed off of Gibson"....on TSR they're talking with certainty (after INTERVIEWING Callahan) about our program backing off of Gibson...those are TWO :victory: inside program sources whose version of events don't jibe with GIBSON'S (as well as Miami's) confidant... Just clarifying...resume stealing desktops. :scare:

Most top quarterback prospects have already made their choices. Gibson needs to figure out where he wants to go and pull the trigger.

He may now be in a situation where he needs to be a part of his HS team, actually compete as a QB this year, perform well, and then decide. Are we sure very many schools would even take him at QB right now if at all?

Can you confirm he was serious? There was a lot of laughing going on and when it looked like some were taking it serious, the tweets were deleted. There is no way to know if he was serious or not, without some speculation one way or the other.

Why do we have to believe him in that sense, when he can't be considered believable when he says that the reports of issues with his school are not accurate? Can we have it both ways? If so, why?

Maybe someone should tell him about blue font... maybe that will help in the future.

At best, the recent reports are conflicting. Otherwise, the latest information dispels the rumors of UT cooling on the recruitment and point to UT still pursuing and still being in the driver's seat for his commitment.
