I am purely in here to stir the pot. Would I like Gibson to chose us? Yeah, who wouldn't? Will I be sad if he doesn't? I am not that emotionally invested. Years of piss poor Dooley recruiting has desensitized me.

There are multiple groups in this situation:

1. Those who just want Gibson on the team at whatever position CBJ thinks is right

2. Those who think Gibson is a great player but not really a QB

3. Those that think Gibson is not as good as the totally unproven QB and ATH we already have committed

4. Those who feel that our team is so good now that we can afford to turn away top 20 players

5. Those who only spew conjecture and hate towards one of the best players in the country wanting to play at UT

I struggle with ignore lists, as I end up just reading it anyways. I have a special few on ignore, but you have to be touched to get on it.

I have mainly learned that if someones post is more than 3 sentences, it's probably useless drivel and I don't read it, you can tell from the quotes if you were right in that assumption.

The 247 guy Ryan Callahan said we were still in good shape to sign him but doesn't know if we still lead and the rumors as far as he know are just rumors.

Just a QB who can throw the ball extremely well and move well enough to extend plays to get the ball to the playmakers. 4-5 times a game the QB can tuck the ball and keep it for 5-6 yards at a time and a 1st down. We won't be lined up in the wildcat 90% of the time. The idea we need a "running QB" is just silly.

This! I never want to see UT go Auburn. I want to see Hurd, Lane, et al do the running and our Stable of receivers hauling in passes with our QB occasionally running to prevent a sack or pick up a 1st down.
