'15 FL QB/WR/DB (anything he wants) Torrance Gibson

There is no proof he has grade issue. No one has said it will be a factor. That was a rumor someone started.

It has been said he is already a 4 star qb and he has Heisman and NFL potential there. He will need work just as much as Jennings or Dormady will. He has the most potential no doubt. He is already as good or better than Terrel Pryor at this point. The word from the Opening is he is very coachable and improved a lot in just a couple of days. The only thing he lacks is consistency. He can make all the throws already. He just needs to refine his game like the qbs we have committed need to.

If there are no grade issues, then what is his GPA? Test score? Give us the facts. We are listening.

The Stooges are at it again I see. They just cannot survive without their daily Gibson hating :eek:lol:.

If Gibson goes somewhere else and becomes a stud player that lives up to his ranking, the ones who didn't want him are going to feel sick. At least they should anyway.

Nah...we're going to be just fine...and you will too after everything comes to fruition...got faith in ya buddy

If there are grade issues give me facts. What is his GPA? Test score? Oh right it is illegal for someone to have that information. So nobody outside of his family has it. Believe anything that you want to though. It has been stated by Callahan the stuff coming out has been rumors with no evidence to back it up.

I'm not going to be sick seeing TG play well at UCF or Miami. JJ and QD will be doing it in the SEC at Tennessee. I'll support the Vols and not worry so much about the ones who are not. :good!:

JMO

So you don't think he will play for us. You don't worry about players that don't play for us. Then you proceed to post in his thread from 7:45 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Makes sense.

Somebody has to talk some sense into you all. Some of us quit trying. I commend LV for his commitment.

Yeah it totally makes sense to NOT want one of the best playmakers in the country to play at Tennessee. By all means continue to support him for that.

That is not what is being said. There are just other needs beyond a 3rd qb/ possible wr.

If CBJ wants to drop someone to get him, that is his decision. But I would be willing to bet TG is not at the top of our board over all. In fact, I would be willing to bet that TG isn't a take without a decommitment or without bumping someone in the same QB/WR realm.

Yes that is what some people are saying. We need great players, regardless of position to get back to winning. You're entitled to your opinion though.

I believe CBJ is still pursuing Gibson pretty hard. Now he may or not be a QB here just like Jennings. However as I and others have said before there is virtually no downside to accepting Gibsons commitment.

There is if it takes up a spot that an O or DL wanted...

TG would have 2 yrs to develop as a QB. You redshirt him in 2015. As a redshirt freshman he contributes at another position (WR) and in special packages at QB. UT wins the SEC East in 2016. His redshirt soph season he is ready to set the world on fire as the full time QB with the talent that Butch had amassed around him. UT wins the National championship for the 2017 season.

You're asking for private info, that none of us have access to. Please don't tell me this is a real request. While you're at it, get me his parents credit card and social security number while you're at it. Blue font on the previous sentence.

And YOU know...because you are EVER SO VIGILANT in monitoring said opinions. :yu: Your cross to bear I assume?

I generally try to stay out of this thread when possible, but the thing that kills me about Tennessee potentially not signing Gibson is that you know he would go to Auburn or OSU and just absolutely tear it up.

oh Butchna. So angry...

What is this REALLY about? You should start a thread to discuss and just really get into what makes Butchna tick.

Looking at it playing out, I'm not so sure AU or OSU even want him at all.

Then Butch's little chess game is working perfectly...

Ohhhh now I see what CBJ is doing!

He allows schools to "think" he is recruiting TG really hard. It helps that TG "claims" the Vols are pushing for him. That way other schools who were questioning was the kid with the "issues" worth chasing. As it plays out that OSU and AU are trying to get other QBs w/out all the "issues", CBJ just plays the game.

After AU and OSU select their other QBs, it will then come out that UT had not been pushing for Gibson at all and UCF is indeed where he ends up.

Brilliant I tell ya. :birgits_giggle:
