Hubbs just said something very interesting...

He thinks Amadi is a higher priority than Abernathy and TN wouldn't take Abernathy over Amadi at this time.

Miller is visiting OSU this weekend instead of Knoxville, so he may be one of a handful of guys that won't ultimately be VOLS. Making room for Martin and Amadi/Abernathy??

I don't think that means we wouldn't let Abernathy commit though. Think it just means if both want to commit we take Ahmadi.

I think we ultimately end up with 2 CB's. Martin and one of Miller/Abernathy/Reynolds/Ahmadi.

With Amadi comes Phillips. If we land Phillips and Walker this d-line class could become the best we have ever had here.

Actually, when it comes to UT recruiting information:

Bob Welton>>>>Fortenberry>>>Parker>>>Chris Spognardi>>>>>>>>>Hubbs.

And I get my information from them. Hubbs has become a vague post machine the last 18 months.

Considering Fort and Hubbs work for the same group and most certainly share information, it would more realistically look like this:

Welton>Spognardi>Hubbs>Fortenberry>Parker

Except that Spags is Butch Jones' best friend in the entire world, his literal right-hand man, and the odds that you're getting your info from him are very low. And Welton's not dumb enough to get Pendergrassed by sharing info like that.

I'm not saying you don't have a source, but I am saying it probably isn't either of those two guys.

Hubbs is no where near the reporter he used to be and has lost a few of his best sources. At this point Id put him below Fortenberry, Parker, Simmons, and Newberg.

Fortenberry works for Hubbs. It's called "Brent Hubbs' Volquest.com". Everything Fort knows, Hubbs knows.

Fortenberry is Hubbs' recruiting liaison. Hubbs' focus is on the current team. To say Fortenberry is a better insider than Hubbs is pretty cockamamie.
