I believe Ron's post a few up explains it well, at least in my eyes it does. His physical stats that were made public were not in fact true, which most usually aren't. The staff decided to slow the roll and see about others they had pursued as well.

Maybe this is what happened in Amadi's case, maybe it wasn't. We really do not know unless Amadi himself comes out and says or a member of the staff; both of which will more than likely not happen. But that's what we have VN for, right? LET THE DEBATE!

I think CBJ and staff are doing just fine when it comes to recruiting. Just don't quite get the reasoning to offer kids who are 5" shorter and 35lbs lighter than what your looking for. If I were a recruit, I might see what is playing out and do just as Amadi did.

Obviously Amadi saw through it and decided to choose a school who's offer was valid and committable. If the coaches would have to miss on every CB recruit who is 6'+ before they considered taking me, I seriously doubt I would wait around to see how it plays.

Yes we miss on some with this line of thinking,but we land even MORE...quality AND quantity :yahoo:

Used by people who ignorantly mean to say regardless. According to webster, it is a word, but since the prefix "ir" and the suffx "less" both mean "not or with" they cancel each other out, so what you end up with is regard. When you use this to try to say you don't care about something, you end up saying that you do. Of course everyone knows what you mean to say and only a pompous,rude ******* will correct you.
