I mean does it have to be?
Could all the kids who committed like their decision?
Could the staff have not been diligent in making sure the kids they were taking were looking good grade/qualifying wise?
Could all the current commits look good as SRs this year?
If so, could they not end up Vols?
Add McKenzie, Richmond, Sapp, Ordway, Jones, and Phillips and we good to go!!
:loco:
Picou is a bull. He's gained a ton of weight since his film, too. Picou is a great pick-up in his own right.

Way to early to wory about numbers it's July. Good chance most of the current commits don't sign come signing day.
So, your saying over 50% of our current commits will sign elsewhere? Yeah, ok.
I said most not 50% you said that. It's common sense some of the early commits we have at this point may not sign in February. It also my be someone we arnt thinking of. It happened last year it does every year
You understand what the definition of 'most' is, right? It generally implies more than half.
How you came to that conclusion is beyond me
Not being a smart butt, but most implies a majority, which would be greater than 50%. That's what your OP sounded like you were implying. A few or a handful may have been more appropriate, as Ron said, in which I would completely agree. :hi:
What about the numbers...has he accepted 24-25 now?
FYP. We would take both of those guys and McKenzie. I still feel pretty good about Tuttle regardless.
No thanks. I like my original post the way I said it. I have thought for some time that we are only taking three DTs this cycle Kahlil, now Picou, and one more. If QJ committs to us, then I think it means bad news on DJ and Tuttle. If the staff feels good about one of those two, then I think QJ commits to NC State.
It looks like the plan is 24. I just wanted to see the staff would actually over sign especially by that much all along setting up some VFL's to be forced out. It does appear the staff will do it.
The fact that they have now taken 18 commitments with only 16 spots(as of today) seems to support it as well. I'm reasonable. I can see it as possible now.
Of course if Matthews is right and the staff already has (2-4) current commits who would not sign, then they are not technically over. I'm not sure I see 2-4 kids who are sure things to end up elsewhere. Maybe 1, but that's it as of now.

With the quality of players we are still in on, would you consider the Bruce commitment a head scratcher?
