'15 GA OL Marquel Harrell

Stewart
Jones
Jackson(If he is an OT)
Lovingood
Richmond(Ideally)

That is why I' not sure Harrell has a spot as of right now.

Harrell will end up being one of the top guard prospects in the country.

Jones
Steward
Richmond
Clark
Harrell
Jackson as a possible OL as well.

It is by far the biggest need in this class.

I agree it is a big need in this class. Most seem to think Jackson is being signed as an OT. That gives us 3 on the OL so far if Riley is a "specialist".

QB-1Gentry
RB-1Love
TE-1Gagg
WR-2 Williams, Woods
OL-4 Stewart, Jones, Jackson, Richmond
DT-2McKenzie, Johnson
DE-3 Butcher, Philips, Roseboro
LB-3 Dews, Cherry, DeBerry
CB-2Ordway, Amadi
S-1McGraw?
Specialist-1 Lovingood

Butch was quoted as possibly signing 18-22. The above would be 21. It's gonna be tough. There are ALOT of names on the board people swear are takes and I just can't see it being the case.

That's crazy to see that break down and realize we could let a ton of talent leave the state

That last sentence is every class man.

Also FWIW on your list, Gragg is going to Arky DeBerry is a LEO/DE and Dews might be too. And I don't think we get McGraw. All JMO. Pretty good list though for now!

Numbers will be tight no doubt

I get that kids may end up at a different position down the road. Obviously if DeBerry and or Dews are DEs, then do you not take a commitment from Philips or Roseboro? If they are I doubt the staff takes 5 DEs and only 1 LB. I agree that McGraw is a longshot. I just figured we would ideally sign 1 safety and he is instate. There could be a lot of other options for that spot.

Pretty close list IMO. From the look of things I think the coaches are going Clark or bust at TE. We aren't really actively recruiting anyone else and it sounds like the guys we have are looking pretty good so far this spring.

It's really insane how many top flight guys we might have to pass on.

Well Jerome's dad mentioned the LEO position specifically and DeBerry is 245ish as Jr in HS. I think they don't end up there but they are being recruited there. I think that's why Jerome is at ASA to gain some weight. JMO

And I can't asset that on Roseboro/Phillips but if I made it list myself it would have one of Roseboro/DeBerry.

To be fair though if DeBerry didn't gain much weight he could probably play SOLB

“You could say that they’re all the way up at the top,” said Harrell, who’s ranked the nation’s No. 36 offensive guard in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite for the 2015 class. “I could see myself in orange and white.”

“It was good. I really enjoyed my visit,” said Harrell, who’s a teammate of Tennessee signees Evan Berry and Elliott Berry. “(I liked) just getting to meet all the players. The coaches had that home feeling and treated me like the coaches that are here at Creekside. It just felt like my home away from home.”

“I talked to all the coaches — Coach A.P. (offensive quality control assistant Anthony Parker), Coach Jones, (offensive line) coach (Don) Mahoney, (linebackers) coach (Tommy) Thigpen. I talked to all of them. They were telling me that it’s a great place to be besides football and about the education standpoint of it.”

Listed at 6'3 and 305 lbs in the article. Evan and Elliott are working on him a good bit. Plans to be back for the Spring game and a game during the season. Plans to go to UF in a couple of weeks. Wants to commit before his season starts.

"I had a great time there meeting some of the players, getting to watch practice and meeting some of the coaches," Harrell said. "They had the mic and the music playing and we play music at our practices to simulate a game situation. It was high intensity."

"Just the whole feeling I was getting from the players and the coaches," said Harrell of what stuck out to him. "They just wanted me to be a Vol and I really liked that."

"He was talking about how I could fit into his offense and what position I would play and he talked about the graduation rate and he said they have the second-highest graduation rate in the SEC," Harrell said. "Tennessee has always been there and the coaches have always showed me attention, which I like."

"I don't have a new top five but I can say that Tennessee is one of the top schools for me," Harrell added.

Harrell plans to visit UF and FSU soon and be back in Knoxville for the Spring game on April 12. He also plans to announce his decision on his birthday, July 18.

Marquel Harrell told me Tennessee is his No. 1 school right now, just over Ole Miss. He's going to make his decision in July and Tennessee has a good shot at landing him right now.

itll be really interesting to see who we get and who gets turned away. Already have Jones and Stewart. Keep Jackson at DE, pick up Harrell, Richmond and Edoga and call it a day?
