Unfortunately, I've heard that Van goes elsewhere. UGA is best guess at this point.

That's all I've heard lately. I think we still lead for Shy and Settle if the staff wants him.

Numbers be damned, if Settle wants to be a Vol after Shy commits I sure hope we take him. What a monster OL and DL class this is shaping up to be.

It's possible it has something to do with defensive schemes. We run the 4-3, while Bama and Georgia run the 3-4. Believe that Vandy is switching to the 3-4, as well, and some talk that South Carolina might be incorporating the 3-4 (though they have run the 4-2-5 recently).

Sapp may fit into our 4-3 scheme much better than the 3-4 scheme which is becoming increasingly common. But that's just speculation on my part, as I don't know much about Sapp's strengths and weaknesses.
