Talked to Sapp's basketball coach at the Arby's classic ...

he said Sapp loved the Vols but was waiting to see how many basketball scholarships he would be offered .Said Sapp loves basketball . Just thought id pass along what his coach said . GO VOLS !!! sign em Butch .

I'm sure it's been discussed but anyone have an idea why UGA didn't offer Sapp? They took a shorter 3 star linebacker from Florida that didn't have near the offer list that Sapp has. Maybe they knew Sapp had no interest in them but regardless seems strange.

May not fit their 3-4 scheme. I think he is an OLB all the way but still needs to add weight. I was told that he kind of liked UF growing up, but they lost interest.

No Sapp needs to concentrate on football full time.

Nothing directly from him but he didn't commit from several I've talked to. We will see what he says of we can talk to him but hearing he will likely take two more visits.

I still think Tennessee is the team to beat but the numbers are tight and it will be interesting to see how things play out.

Agree. Time to move on if the kid isn't gonna commit after all this time so close to NSD and given our numbers crunch. We have more pressing needs than Lb imo.

I think so too. No way they let Sapp "string" this along if they don't have a real good idea how this recruiting year plays out. He is good, but not THAT good in regards to this class coming in.

He was once a silent commit I know he gave a silent verbal to the staff a couple months ago since then I don't know what happened.... Next weekend when they host the other official visitors his spot will be taken if he doesn't commit.... It's a first come first serve from what I've heard

Kinda wonder if bituli is in the fold for next year like many have said, the staff maybe done at lb this year. with bates getting his medical redshirt that helps with depth, its like he's a freshman recruit again for this class. Idk, just throwing some thoughts out there.

OV is solid. I think easy has a good source but with Ga kids, I would go with OV info. Not a knock on Easy but OV knows what is going on most of the time with GA kids.
