Why the H is Vonn just standing there instead of trying to meet him in the hole? And it looks like Swinney is trying to step on Vonn as he is falling backwards, lol.
Were looking real good he's estatic about UT switching to Nike and his relationship with Gillespie is strong
At running back, Georgia and North Carolina seem to be two areas of focus as Eric Swinney and Taj Griffin are high atop the Vols' board as are Bryce Love, Nyheim Hines and Johnny Frasier (who the Vols offered Wednesday) out of North Carolina. Jaason Lewis could be a factor here as well depending on who he chooses and where he ends up on the field.
Swinney has been high on Tennessee since getting his first offer from the Vols almost 10 months ago, and he already has visited them a few times, most recently for UTs home game against South Carolina on Oct. 19. Ole Miss, Auburn and Georgia also are among the early contenders for Swinney, who already has racked up approximately 20 scholarship offers to date, including his latest offer from Notre Dame on Tuesday.
ERIC SWINNEY RB, 5-10/185, TYRONE, GA.
REASON FOR THE RANKING: A top 100 prospect, Swinney first gained notoriety when, as a sophomore in the state championship game, he ran over then five-star senior safety Vonn Bell on the goal line to score a touchdown. Since then, Swinney's stock has continued to rise. While not the biggest back, he doesn't like that physicality to lower his shoulder and deliver a hit. Add that to his cutting ability and top-notch speed, it makes for a top-5 running back in the country.
THE SKINNY: Swinney has already visited Tennessee's campus numerous times, including several times last spring and summer and once this past fall for a game. Robert Gillespie has been recruiting the junior running back since he arrived at Tennessee last spring and the Vols have positioned themselves in Swinney's top group, along with Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida State and several others.
