Sandy Creek = Auburn if they really want you
This made me curious, so I decided to go to Rivals and look at the players from Sandy Creek that signed with Auburn.
Of the 65 players they show, only 2 have signed with Auburn. both in 2012.
Tennessee has signed 1 out of Sandy Creek. Our very own Rajion Neal
Anyone know if Swinney has a commitment timeline or has he mentioned when he might look to commit to a school? Curious with us taking 3 RBs in 2014 and likely only taking 1 RB in 2015(2 if they call Lewis a RB), how long would UT wait and or hold off on other RBs if another target wanted to commit?
I would be more than happy if we got Swinney and Lewis and called it a day at RB.
I'll admit Lewis now has me concerned. A month ago I felt he was all Vol and would commit any day now. We added Scott at RB and Lewis tweeted about it and to me the expression he added to it had me thinking he did not like seeing it. On his visit to ucla he buys a bunch of bruin gear. Keep in mind in their new recruiting class they added 1 RB. If I were a recruit about to commit to UT, would I buy a bunch of ucla stuff? If he is 100% all about playing RB, ucla could very well have taken the lead.
Imagine that...LV already concerned about a recruit going elsewhere. Simmer down, LV.
I think Lewis is one of the best players in the 2015 class. He would be a huge get for UT if we could get him. Of course he is not a DT so it won't kill me either way. Both our RB and TE situation looks to be strong going forward. Just had hoped we would get Lewis very early and give the 2015 class a huge boost.
He likes the West Coast. Said for a while he wants to live in CA or on the West Coast. I remember the tweet but I don't think he was trying to hint at anything. Also if USC or Oregon offers I think it could make it interesting, but IIRC he wants to end his recruitment by early March so that definitely works in our favor with him visiting for possibly the JR day and the O&W game.I'll admit Lewis now has me concerned. Have you ever thought that he is a silent, and he just wants to get the visits in to places he wanted to see before he commits publicly? After all, we know that this staff STRONGLY discourages visits after publicly committing.
