Thought Ramsey played safety?

I don't get where guys are getting the idea that Ramsey is a CB. Ramsey played pretty much all FS last year. This season he has pretty much taken over Lamarcus Joyner's role as the "star"/nickel back. Ramsey is a very versatile DB. Just like Joyner, they move him around all over the place and put him in position to make plays. Ramsey is only like a mid-4.5 guy at best(I think he runs 4.56 or so) so he will never be a true CB IMO. FS and NB all the way...

Kinda funny how Sutton doesn't get screens his way. I also find it funny how Bama didn't throw the fade to Cooper versus him. Teams won't attack him for some reason. I wonder why again, could it be that either you'll get knocked out or picked off. Teams don't want that problem so they leave his side alone. But I guess he's not impacting games by erasing one side of the field.

Who is saying he doesn't? Watching Cam blow up screens and flat routes is about my favorite thing anyone on this team does.

The one WR Cam has not been able to handle is Amari Cooper... with that said Cooper is the most talented WR to come through the SEC in some time. No one in any conference can guard him man to man. Top 5 talent

The only TD Sutton has given up the WHOOOLE time he's been here is to A. Cooper (the slant and go).

Sutton is a complete CB. Height, length, good speed, great instincts, physical and never makes the same mistake twice.

best CB that's been at UT since... Dale Carter without question

Goodrich?? nope... Terry Fair?? nope...

Plenty of great safeties have come through... but Cb's... Sutton is right up there with he best to ever play on the hill

I couldn't agree more. There isn't a DB in the country that is doing more for their defense than Cam Sutton. He just suits up and goes to work each and every Saturday. It's kind of difficult to "take over" all these games when the opposing offense is completely ignoring one whole side of the field week in and week out. And when they run at him, he lets em know who he is real quick like.

Idk...maybe I'm crazy and Cam isn't EXACTLY what everyone wants as a CB. But I'm pretty damn happy watching all these teams show the man that much respect by practically hiding from him for 60 mins. Pretty much all I'm looking for in a lockdown CB if ya ask me...

Especially now that Moseley is coming along on the other side. I still can't help but think that Cam is good enough to be assigned the other team's best receiver no matter where, but that's just me looking for answers to 200+ yards receiving days. If Moseley continues to do as well as it appears he is going to, no temporary stop gaps will be needed. Cam has to be in the top 3 CBs to ever wear the orange, if not the best. Amazing player.
