'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

I just saw a MZ Terry Siting! Hope you and the family are doing well? Man, your man (He's not a boy any more) Jason has grown so much. I can't wait to seeing him eating peanuts off of DB heads. :loco:

MZ can u get you to go out on limb and talk about which coaching staff is better equipped to get us to a national title. Also had Croom went through the process with butch as head coach would Croom have signed with us. I'm just curious. Don't answer if you feel will cause u problems

I'm not a cyber coach so I won't speculate about the National CHampionship.

CBJ recruited Croomster at Cincin, so the transition for him was REALLY smooth. I wasn't good with sending my son that far up north, and look what happened? Worked out anyway.....

Now as far as signing with this staff or previous.... easy choice..... because although we were well established with the previous staff; it never had a bearing on UTK. I tell ALL kids, especially my son, be sure to be comfortable in your environment. We came to UTK knowing that the coaching change was a possibility, but we loved Knoxville, and Volnation more than any other fanbase. I've always been very vocal about that. There's no place like Neyland.. and we visited quite a few schools.... none compared, and I felt good signing with Jason to come to UTK..... the relationships were a bonus.

Some things about Knoxville will NEVER change... the passionate fans is what keeps UTK going forward.

PS: I read a post about Azzanni not being a good coach..... that's crazy as hell!!!! the players at whatever previous school was probably not receptive to his " I'm not takin' ur *ish attitude." He's a teaching coach from what I hear from Jason, and if he loves and respects him the way I hear my son talk about him....... BAM he got my vote 110%

Good night

lol... I know.... I saw him in March, and he popped home for Mother's day... and I was like " damn boy" you growing again?! lol

He'll probably top out somewhere around 6'7"... his father was that' tall and I'm 5'10"... hell he might be 7 feet by the time season come. lol

you hush man... lol you know how to get in touch with me whenever you want to... lol

how is lil' miss princess doing?

She is doing great! She is completely wrapped up in this Frozen thing...she is Elsa or Anna every day! Lol!

Thanks for sharing the insight with Azzani with everyone. Sounds like he and this staff have won you over. I remember we talked a few months after they were hired, and you still seemed skeptical a little, and that concerned me. Will hit you up as the season gets closer. Take care, and tell AK there's no place like Knoxville and Volnation. :)

While it is too early to say the Volunteers are leading for Kamara, they have definitely put themselves into strong consideration and based on depth and opportunity for immediate playing time, the Vols would have an edge over Georgia right now. As of right now, Kamara feels Vols’ running backs coach*Robert Gillespie*is making the biggest push to add him to their 2015 roster.

This is coming off a visit to Knoxville, so the Bulldogs’ staff has not had a chance to get Kamara on campus yet. They will soon though, as Kamara plans to visit Athens, Ga. before he heads back to Hutchinson on June 1. With no running backs committed so far in the 2015 cycle, Georgia has not changed the way it is recruiting Kamara, telling him he can come right in and make an impact right away. He also visited last Thursday - Sunday:peace2:

Poster didn't mention it but this came from Kipp Adams who knows his stuff in GA region. I would think he wouldn't drag his recruitment out very much since he has already done that before. Kamara/hurd/Scott/ and Paulk is filthy potential. They all bring something different to he table as well.

It's pretty amazing to watch what's happening...

What's that?

We're building depth!

First, it started at WR.

Now it's happening at RB.

It's happening at QB...

It's happening at LB..

It's happening at DL

It's happening at OL...

It's happening at DB....

Holy crap. Depth....what a concept. It's been gone for so long. Welcome back, depth!

Recipe for winning!

Don't forget Rocky Reid! :hi:

You come in and compete. You earn the playing time which allows you to make an impact. I'm sure that's the way it is everywhere.
