'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

Kamara had a pretty decent outing today as Hutchinson whipped Iowa Central, 42-21.

He rushed for 180 yards on just 15 carries and had TD runs of 1, 2, 52 and 71 yards. :)

Whats even better is that the way Hurd is starting to play and the way I believe Kamara will perform, we will recruit top RB's for a long time.

I'd say 100 percent. We were in his final group the first time around he has friends on the team and possibly a lady friend at ut as well could be wrong about that but it seems like I heard that somewhere

I hope he is solid to the Vols. One thing that scares me is he is good friends with Croom. IIRC MsTerry brought Kamara to a few vists during his high school recruitment. These posters starting threads and putting Croom down or any other player needs to STOP. These kids reads the message boards. These negative post do not help in any way. I am also guilty. I posted several negative post about Bray. I have decided I will not post a negative remark about one of our players or recruits again.

Hurd and Kamara has the potential to bring UT fans a lot of good memories.

When you are 6'5"....the biggest WR we have and you are not only having little to no impact on the team and letting TD passes slip between both of your hands and right into the defender's....you can expect fans to start sounding off.

It is what it is. I've been pulling for Croom all these 3yrs, but I'm bitterly disappointed in him thus far.

I've seen those stupid threads in the FF, one of which was deleted. I think MZTERRY realizes there are morons that post that crap and she realizes it's a small percentage of Vol fans that behave like that. Some of which may not even be Vol fans. She also realizes there are a percentage of morons and simple minded folks at all big time college programs. MZTERRY seems to be 100% on the Butch train.

God some of you are so dramatic. Ignoring the extent to which being "bitterly disappointed" in any student athlete is over the top, to be this settled in your view of Croom's abilities after 1 year and 3 games is insane. Especially when he has had flashes of very solid play.

Croom was a redshirt freshman last year. And, as I have repeated countless times, he had the third most receiving yards on our team, and the second highest yards per catch. He did this while being an above average blocking WR.

Croom has not played especially well this year, but it is three games into the season. He has had a couple of missed opportunities, and needs to fight more for the ball. But it is way too early to take the attitude that you're taking. He has not fully lived up to his potential, but the same is true for the vast majority of college players. We can hope that Jason meets his, and we should continue supporting him in the meantime.

Doug Mathews wasn't too impressed with him but he could turn it around. It is year 3 for him. Josh Smith turned it around in year 2. Croom needs to learn to catch with his hands and snatch the ball out of the air. He should win the battle against the smaller CB. He better turn it around soon.

Same here.

Croom is built like Megatron, and there is no reason why he shouldn't be the most dominating WR in college football. He has left plays on the field time and time again, especially against OU. The Sanchez interception was squarely on him, WORLEY placed that ball perfectly and it slipped right through his hands and into Sanchezs'. That play could have turned the game around as there were two interceptions in the endzone one accounting for a 14 pt swing.

For us to win these big games Croom needs to step up, and it's about time. He knows this himself, no one is saying anything he doesn't know I promise you that.

Built like him that's where it stops. I like croom I think he can turn it around and be a solid receiver, but megatron is faster stronger more agile, and the best receiver in the game.
