Not totally serious, but kind of. Lately, with the exception of CP, JuCo players we've signed have been mediocre at best. Hopefully Von Pearson and Dontavius Blair break that trend. Is Volley ball boy still on the team?
Meh. About as badly as we needed Riyadh.
4. Jeryl Brazil, CB, Freshman, LSU -- 6.22 (55m), 6.70 (60m), 10.36 (100m)
The four-star athlete out of Loranger, La., will play cornerback for LSU. He ran just one 100-meter race as a senior, which means makes his 10.36 run as a junior all the more impressive. There's certainly a chance that, given his trajectory, he'd prove to be as fast as anyone on this list if he had run more races his senior season.

Recruiting analyst James Smith on Jeryl Brazil
Strengths: Brazil is the fastest high school player that will ever suit up at LSU. He possesses world-class speed, but there is a lot more to his game. His ball skills, lateral quickness and strength are also very good. When he is on offense and the ball is in his hands, his vision, burst and speed make him a threat at all times. He runs with good balance and possesses good natural vision. This dual-threat athlete has also shown a lot of promise at cornerback as well, although he is very raw at the position. When in press coverage, he does a good job shooting his hands and using his upper-body strength to battle on the line of scrimmage.

Mike Scarborough, publisher of Rivals website Tigerbait.com, said he sees a lot of parallels between Brazil and [Russell] Shepard as well.
Hes without a doubt that guy, Scarborough said. Very personable, active on Facebook and Twitter. At the Under Armour (All-American) Game, he was talking to other prospects. When they had a big recruiting weekend, youd get the feeling he was one of the ringleaders and the guy in the room they were talking to the most.
ESPN senior recruiting analyst Tom Luginbill said every school needs a Brazil in its class or would love to have one.
I think its critical, Luginbill said. Its an opportunity for the coaching staff to have almost an extra limb out there.

His past worries me but its hard to pass up stud corners when you need them bad
