A lot of people fail to realize that fans on social network has a lot to do with recruiting. Prospects wanna go somewhere they are welcomed

Just more proof. Everyone should show him some love on twitter

CodyG and Sab could derail that sentiment pretty quickly jmo :)

Is there any context to this statement?

All these other schools are paying for players like this cough cam newton. It's how college football works cough auburn cheats. Gotta get dirty sometimes to win cough **** auburn. Also screw lsu for not kicking off their rb last year that sucker punched som1. Les decided to take a team vite on what to do and he wasnt punished. Classy move less. FloridAs last nc teAm for instance had 38 percent of its players arested at least once while at Florida. How many of them were kicked off? My main point is **** Auburn they cheat the most, other sec schools have no class and will take any1 and won't hand out discipline unless forced to. I'm not saying I want to have to do this but if you don't others glady will. Also **** auburn.

Ok that was weird but signing someone with a past issue isn't cheating. So not sure where the Auburn stuff came from.

Every big program in the nation pays the players to some degree. I have a friend that went to a Sec school on a basketball scholarship and he said every friday morning there was an envelope slid under his door with cash in it. Now I'm sure it was from a booster and not a school official but I know it happened. So we have to be realists when it comes to paying players.

Pathetic.

Have you lost your mind? Are you honestly telling me that if for the simple figure of $200,000 UT could be guaranteed a Heisman and a National Championship you wouldn't pony right up, all in the name of compliance with the regulations of one of the most corrupt and wrong organizations in the history of college athletics?

I don't give a rat's behind about the NCAA. They're a dinosaur and on the way out of relevance. If 200 grand guarantees Tennessee a Heisman and another crystal ball I'd give everything in my wallet right this minute.

Nope. I wouldn't care if it was $20. I would much rather UT play an extremely tough schedule, play their hearts out and have a losing season. What would a bought Heisman and NC accomplish? A one year excitement for the fans? Big deal. In the long run it would look much worse. Nobody outside of Tennessee would respect either the Heisman or the NC because we bought them.

I cannot even believe a true Vol fan would consider this. I guess that's what happens to fans who have lost all faith in their team. You probably support us buying out of tough OOC games too.

It doesn't seem like it effected auburn too much. Hell it probably helped catapult them get the recruiting classes that got them to the championship last year.
