Wonder why Prep school wasnt an option.
seems like if he went that route he could get his HS core work done and still have 4 years to play.
anyone close to the situation know if that was a viable option for Cam?
Ive just kind of been guiding him through this thing, Cummings said. I mean, Ive been honest with him for a while that it wasnt looking good. We really werent sure what direction we needed to go. When we did some research and found out in the junior-college ranks you could go through this program, this by far seemed the best option for him.
247 has a good article up on Patrick from his coach's (Cummings - Knox West) perspective. He did sign with East Miss. C.C. yesterday.
East Miss. C.C. won the NC last year, and they throw the ball a lot, so Camion will have a good chance to play and produce. UT needs to stay on him his entire time down there if we want a chance.
ESPN 300 wide receiver Camion Patrick (Lenoir City, Tenn.) and three-star outside linebacker Zach Barnes (Loganville, Ga./Grayson) are no longer committed to Tennessee, multiple sources report.

Lazy journalism. I'm not a member of the ESPN hates us crowd. Although I do think they have a northeastern bias, naturally.
They only report professional sports stories from bandwagon teams.. Cowboys, Lakers, Heat, Patriots, Giants etc... Also they get majors hards on for the Jets for a reason that no one knows
I actually think ESPN likes Tennessee, when they have something to say about UT they do. When Tennessee does well they are all over it (Florida gameday, Butch hire). Many fans like myself wear orange tinted glasses, and don't realize they re reporting news good or bad.
