'15 LA RB Kendall Bussey (Former UT commit)

Bo Pelini has been fired. So, if UT really wants him... It should be easy picking (not sure that he's a take with the numbers and Love still a possibility).

IMO he would have already flipped to UT. IMO around the time reports came out he was de-committing from NE he realized he was in a wait and see position with Tennessee. He then reaffirmed to the huskers. I'd bet UT would have to miss on 2-3 other guys before Bussey would be a take. I do like Bussey over Love.

Yeah, I agree but if he doesn't switch now that only solidifies the thought.

I think they like Love more for whatever reason.

I think they like love for speed. I know bussey is fast too, but I think CBJ and CMB have visions of Dobbs, Hurd, Kamara, Love, and Scott changing paces, running jet sweeps and run pass options all over teams. That's a lot of speed in the backfield.

Love would probably be the fastest of the bunch. That being said if I have a choice between a 175LB RB who runs a 4.3-4.35 and a 205LB RB who runs a 4.4, I'll take the bigger back every time. In the SEC I think the durability factor wins out.

I will be trying to touch base with his father today. I know they have continued to talk to Tennessee the last few weeks and are still open to a switch.

Are the coaches trying to get a medical redshirt for Scott? I would have thought he'd see some action against that school out west with Hurd out.

I agree. If the speed difference is that minuscule, bussey is the guy. Watching his recruitment has me puzzled though. Staff seems to be walking a fine line with the numbers.

If they can sign Kamara and Reid while adding RDAIV for a year I'm fine with that. Focus on getting 2 for 2016. IF they plan to replace Reid(with his visits I think it happens) then obviously another RB is in play. I see how Hurd seems to struggle to get each and every yard with our OL how it is. Would I feel better with a 175LB back there? No way no how. If it comes down to Bussey, Vaughn, and Love, I'd take Vaughn. Instate, no injury issues, and kid is a gamer. As I mentioned earlier I like all of them more than Love.

Thinking Scott Frost is a leading candidate...and if he brings that Oregon offense with him, Bussey stays put.

Love is now listed at 180, and should have no problem getting to 190-195.

5'10 195 with 4.3 speed

I'll take it

Maybe he is 180. Maybe he could get to 190-195. Maybe he could keep his 4.3 speed once he quickly added 15LBS.

Maybe not. Bussey is much bigger and stronger right now. Vaughn is as well.

If Vaughn committed to UT would he then go by "The Orange Mamba"?
