brutal on who? the simple fact that scott is athletically gifted at a different level than picket is fact.. no "brutal-ness"

And made of glass so far. That's not being brutal. We know he's gifted but he can't stay healthy so far. Not sure what he's unhappy about.

because Hurd is a 3 down back, every snap type of player. he was promised SIGNIFICANT snaps and it wasn't kept.. it's really about opportunity and sitting Behind Hurd doesn't give him any.

is reid not being recruited as a linebacker?? wow that is news to me. kid will grow into at least 230 lbs easily. would be nice. now kamara, the kid is absolutely sick on the field

I'm sorry but the guy can't stay healthy at this point. Hurd is on another level than Scott and if you can't see that your kidding yourself. I like Scott and think he eventually could be a really nice complimentary piece. It takes time to learn to play d1 sports.

First I've heard about reid at lb. Love kamara as well watched him a ton in highschool. Like reid too tho reminds me of Jeremy hill.

How do you give snaps to a kid who was injured as soon as Camp started? Then stayed hurt 80% of the year.

no that's my point. Hurd is the real deal and it's hard to take him off the field. so, that's why he wants to transfer. he doesn't see himself as complimentary, he sees a featured back... and so did USCjr, FL, tOSU, etc.

Featured backs have to be healthy. If you aren't healthy you can't complain about PT.

No he didn't. Lane had the least amount of carries that he's had in his career. He only got carries vs vandy bc Jalen got dinged up.

Hurd didn't stay healthy no? I might be a little biased but I just see scott as being the more "pure" running back. shifty, smooth, and incredible vision. just my 2 cents. either way, hate to lose the kid but attrition is attrition

Yeh it's whatever. Pretty soft way to go out. Theres gonna be competition wherever you go in big time college ball. Very, very few schools have features backs anymore. They have several backs.

Scott would barely play at any of those places. Sometimes you have to just be patient.

Hell he might be more of a "pure" RB i dont know but if he's upset about his role then that's on him. He wasn't healthy enough to have a role.

exactly, kids don't see the other side of the coin I.e. future health. kamara and Hurd will handle themselves nicely tho.. no arguing that my friend.

back in football exposure camps in 2012.. he was a freshman I believe. and just the film on hudl... watch him and Hurd (highlight tapes) back to back and you will see exactly what I mean.

If Scott does leave I'm going to be concerned at RB next year just from an experience stand point
