I hope things work out as well but I seriously hope it's not due to playing time. There isn't any room for entitlement in football. I'm speculating here...

If Scott is seriously upset because the coach made him do a drill that other players do, part ways fast.

The playing time thing is really dumb. If they transfer they'll sit for a year. Also, they're going to face competition wherever they transfer. Why not stick it out and work yourself into the rotation? They should take it on as a challenge instead of running away.

Exactly. Do the work, bust your ass, and earn it. If they are willing to put in the effort, they will reap the rewards.

I mean, he can still take these practices as an opportunity to get some PT in the bowl game. And if he makes a few plays, he will see more time next season. Am I missing something?

This bowl game will be an audition for Hendrix. He has a chance at breaking through. Come on Dwayne! Do the right thing and stay.

Hurd came in off shoulder surgery and was doing circle of life in spring practice. If Scott did break hand in drill then its unfortunate but it's football not four square. If true it just sounds like an excuse and not the real reason for whatever his issues are.

All this tells me is their commitment is to themselves and not the team. I would hate to lose either one, but if that's their mentality then they don't need to be Vols anyways. We need players that want to play their hearts out for the team. Look what Gilliam has done. True VFL right there.

My questions to him would be... How can you be upset for getting hurt playing football? No individual is above the team. what did you expect college football would be like? I don't understand how someone can be upset for getting hurt.... It's apart of the game. Just blows my mind
