'15 LA RB Kendall Bussey (Former UT commit)

Has 247 not updated their rankings? He's #59 RB in the nation on their ranking, but he's the #2 APB and #3 recruit in LA according to Rivals. What gives on that? Also, a bit odd he doesn't have a offer from LSU. Maybe they just have a stocked backfield behind Fornette, and didn't prioritize RB's in recruiting this year.

Same HS as Manning. Pipeline!

Really? They aren't as deep as we'd all love for them to be but I am personally pretty excited about the talent of Moseley and Sutton for sure.

Sutton is the only guy I like a lot back there, and he will be a junior. Still plenty of time for the young guys though.

Please stay here on the recruiting forum with us. Please.

By the way, Spurrier still has nightmares of you running wild in the Swamp haha.

To take a redshirt AFTER your sophomore year then come back to set a team record for rushing yards your senior year makes you the walking, talking definition of preserverence and toughness. A few of the pansies who just left the team could learn a few lessons from VFL34.

You have my respect TS.

The pansies don't understand the motto "I will give my all for Tennessee today." TS obviously did.

I like #22.

Foreman? It just seems to me like we have one elite guy at CB (23). We have plenty of good athletes back there though.

The d line should make our DBs look really good the next few seasons.

We will be really dangerous once we put it all together with elite players at every position.

I like #22.

We had an insider indicate that on the OL Mahoney was over ruled by Butch on who started. Specifically, Mahoney wanted Kendrick starting and playing more.

From the little playing time Foreman got, he showed he was the second best CB on the roster. I have a feeling that perhaps the same thing that happened to Mahoney happened to Willie Martinez. Maybe he wanted Foreman to start and play more but was over ruled by Butch.

He will more than likely be a low 4.3 at his prime. He runs a lot like Chris Johnson with his acceleration. But he truly reminds of warrick Dunn and with his mass, jones drew. his attitude is what's most exciting. He has a look in his eye that is exciting that few show. He could be the next great at tennessee. Just depends upon his work eithic and dedication.

We definitely enjoy hearing your perspective here in the recruiting forum. I'm from Clarksville too and remember watching you play in the state championship game against Brentwood Academy! I still say you guys got robbed, with that bogus pass interference call as time expired in the 1st half. BA scored their only points of the game with no time on the clock to win 7-6. Really enjoyed watching you play! Especially as a Vol!

First, TS was amazing in that game, and as a Vol. We agree on that. But it wasn't a State Championship game. It was a playoff game and the final score was 7-3, Brentwood Academy. Here's a link: HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL DATABASE - NORTHEAST
Finally, you're wrong about the pass interference call, too. I have the video and anyone who watches it objectively would agree it was the correct call. Nonetheless, TS singlehandedly kept CNE in the game. Great player.

however, a&m isn’t giving up on guys like kendall bussey, soso jamabo or aca’cedric ware. In fact, don’t be surprised to see one of these three on campus officially right before signing day.

Newman's Kendall Bussey Commits to Tennessee

Bussey Jr. said it was a close decision between Tennessee and Texas A&M.

“It was a coin flip,” he said. “I talked to both coaches the night before and my mind and my heart was everywhere. To be honest, I was wishy-washy at the podium, but I felt like I solidified it this morning. When I say (A &M was) second, I’m saying a close second.”

Bussey said he relishes the opportunity to play in the Southeastern Conference.

“No stage is bigger,” Bussey said. “The Big Ten isn’t bad, but the SEC is top dog. Everyone knows that.”

It would definitely create an issue if he did flip so late though, considering we're having a hard time adding a third.

He has already been committed to two schools before us, so while I think we get him I am not going to be supremely confident until he signs.

I thought his only previous commitment was Nebraska?
