This might be one of the most undervalued recruits on VN. By the end of the year I wouldn't be suprise if he gets around 20 percent of the carries for the vols and averages just north 4 yards a carry. We have seen how impossible it is to try to get one running back through an entire season. Theres a good chance Hurd and kamara will miss some time and Bussey will step up. Bussey will probably still get a few touches when both are healthy. Hope we hold on to his comittment

Aggie side is confident on every recruit so I would take with a grain of salt. The day they whiffed on like 4-5 prospects their MODS were claiming they would do the full sweep and they missed on all of them

If he plays much it will be on special teams, especially if we land Love.

More likely a RS candidate.

I hope they do RS him and get his wheels in good shape. Kamara most likely will be gone after 2 seasons at most.

I don't think this kid is getting enough props-- he is going to surprise folks with how well he fits this system... he is a very powerful back that will contribute quicker than most think...

He's definitely underrated on a few of the sites. I think he's a great looking RB prospect.

And there is no way he redshirts next year IMO. They need at least 4 high quality RB's going into the season.

The question is, how serious this A&M stuff is...? The A&M rumors simply wont die and that makes it dicey for the staff because they need at least 2 RB's + Kamara in this class. Do they trust that Bussey is safely in the fold or do they try and get 2 more RB commits because his situation is still somewhat up in the air?

Every single commitment we have will be contacted by some program leading up to NSD. That's just part of the process. From everything we've seen in this social media comments, he's all Vol. But that will not stop the other programs. He is just that talented.
