'15 LA RB Kendall Bussey (Former UT commit)

To be completely fair, Iowa started really well and then crapped the bed the rest of the season. Most of their players didn't even wanna be there. IOWA is a decent measuring stick, but far from an SEC defensive front IMO.

Yea but i will take it! They needed a confidence boost something fierce.

Hurd almost had 1,000 behind that line, with another year of development and hopefully getting back in their natural positions if Blair works out I don't see why an explosive running attack can't happen

People are saying both of Iowa's DEs are projecting as 1st round draftees. I'd say our OL showed some improvement.

Yeah, but compare that to a game earlier in the season like UTC. I'd say that shows a lot of improvement. Add a full off season on top of that along with potentially getting guys playing at their natural positions, and our line has a chance to be at least decent or better next year.

I completely agree and I'll go even further and say Tennessee will awake from being the sleeping giant after we beat Oklahoma in Knoxville next year. Book it.

I've got that one circled too. It's got the potential to be our wake up call to the rest of the country.

That much is certain!

Bussey is a human bowling ball, and perfect compliment to Hurd!
He reminds me of Travis Henry, but I think Bussey has deceptive speed. You could see on many of his runs, he pulls away once he gets to the 2nd level. When I watch footage of him and Nick Chubb, I don't see any glaring differences. Both short and stocky, with good speed. Might have us a..."real steal."

Love would have been banged up a lot, IMO. Maybe not, but Bussey right now is ready physically for the college game. Great hands too.

Blair is the key. If he comes around here's what I hope to see.

LT- Blair
LG- Jackson
C- Crowder
RG- Robertson
RT- Kerbyson
You forget about Mosley. If he can trim down, he could be the RT. I would like to see Coleman Thomas beat out Crowder for the C position. I'm sorry, but Crowder has never impressed me. He seems smallish for an SEC OL. And I saw him get manhandled on several occasions this past year. Thomas' natural position is C, and he is already a much bigger physical specimen than Crowder. I think Crowder has peaked and cannot get any bigger, either.

Would like to see the whole OL bulk up this offseason. They already should have pretty good stamina. This year, focus on strength and bulk, cause we face some pretty large DL's at Bama and UGA.

LT - Blair
LG - Jackson
C - Thomas
RG - Robertson
RT - Mosley

Mosley has never even practiced a minute as a college football player. Why do people keep bringing him up as a possible starter this year?

Plus, if Sawyers leaves, Mosley may get a shot at DT. If Mosley does play on the offensive end, he'll play G. Jones will be our starting RT by 2016. Just my opinion...

SIZE. And it's not like he is still in HS, chief. He's been in this program for a full season +, now. He's been working with the OL and in the meeting rooms, in the S&C program, etc.

He appears to have pretty quick feet, and is just a MAMMOTH of a human being...so, if the OC wants to run to his side, he can do so with a LOT of confidence. Once Mosley gets his hands on a 240lb DE he can drive him anywhere he wants...at 350lbs.

Is Mosley doing workouts or is he still recovering? Looking for him and Blair to break out and be our tackles in 2016

Pulling away from defenders is one thing I didn't notice much of on Kelly's film, vs say bussey's or love's. Kind of surprising given Kelly's supposed 4.38 40 time.

I thought it was telling when Weisman started at center after Crowder's injury. Coleman needs a RS year. I hope that happens this year.
