'15 LA RB Kendall Bussey (Former UT commit)

I remember a few posters not liking the original pickup, because he seemed indecisive.

They may have been correct.

Probably.

Doesn't really matter, more often than not a kid will not choose to he a part of a 3 RB class. Why?

Just ask Darrell Scott.

Paulk gets reinstated, there is another. RDAIV may see carries. The number 2 and 3 guys in the class are looking at BEST of being the number 3-5 on the depth chart for the next 2-3 years. Could they play more a lot sooner elsewhere? It's easy for me at least to make sense of that in my mind. Say for instance a school that does not have 2 5*RBs with multiple years to play. Jmo

If Kamara has a good year next year he is gone. So that leaves Hurd with one more year after that, if he has a big year he will be gone after his junior season more than likely. So they are not behind multiple 5* backs that are going to be around for 2-3 years.

You would be selling recruits on "maybe they are gone" . I'd think the reason you don't see many 3RB classes is most recruits and or their parents know better than to take that sort of risk. Kids are looking for PT. MAYBE IN 12-24 month's just isn't going to have kids lining up to over sign very often. UT did it last year. Obviously we see how it worked out. Wanna try again? Ok. We'll see how it plays out.

Aggies 247 update

Isidore Newman (LA) running back Kendall Bussey took an official to Texas A&M over the weekend but left without flipping his commitment. However, the current Vol commit is sincerely considering a flip to the Aggies once he gets back home to New Orleans this evening and deliberating with his family.
"We will talk when he gets home about everything but he really enjoyed the trip," a family source told GigEm247. "He had a wonderful time!"
Bussey chose the Vols over the Aggies back in December but the three-star ball carrier still kept his recruitment open despite making his second commitment (he was orginially committed to Nebraska) during the process to Tennessee.
The 247Sports Crystal Ball has been trending towards the Aggies, with the percentages now favoring A&M overall at 57-percent.

Lol, these guys are such homers. I do like their reference to the crystal ball when all the A&M CB's were from before Bussey committed to Tennessee.

You're right to a degree, but if they think they're that good, then why not come and try to compete in a good backfield and beat out a five star? If they're good enough, they'll play. The coaches have shown that they don't care to play freshman. Mostly in the WR group, but I'm sure the coaches would love to give more carries to guys not named Hurd, Dobbs, and Kamara to lighten the load.

I mean is anyone really suprised about this??Kids been wishy washy with his recruitment from the get go.Hope he sticks I like the kid,but wouldnt be suprised if he flipped once again.Im sure butch and company arent stupid and probably planned on this if the kid flaked out....Guess will see.

Exactly. 247 is way worse than rivals about stating facts to help the situation sound more interesting.

Why? Because not all recruits grew up Vol fans like we did. Its about business at times. Coming in behind multiple 5* backs means your chances of early carries where the studs ate not stacked up is better. Like the Frasier recruitment. He can go sit at FSU, or play right away at NCState. Not all kids are going to be cool with hoping to get their turn.

CBJ history tells me if Hurd and Kamara are healthy, CBJ will not worry about lightening the load.

Frasier went to NC State for personal reasons outside of football. It really had nothing to do with more carries.

I bet it didn't hurt, even if it didn't help. Getting fewer carries is definitely hurtful to a school's chances.

Maybe, maybe not. I would think being a teenage father would make how many carries a person gets at a school a trivial reason to switch programs.
