But the likelihood of that actually happening is small as it pertains to backs leaving consecutively from the same team.. Would love to see both further their careers professionally and rep the vols but the reality is it is unlikely to happen.. And why leave after your jr. year if your projected no higher than rounds 2 to 3

Because a back will be unlikely to grade higher than that any year, and you don't risk injury by playing a senior season. Unless you can add a couple of rounds, or jump from late to early first, the risk of a senior season does not come close to justifying the possible benefit of staying. Unless, of course, you are staying for non-draft related reasons (winning a championship, finishing your degree, etc).

One other recruiting note from a man on the ground in New Orleans: we're told emphatically that four-star running back Kendall Bussey rocked Vols gear today at his Isidore Newman High School. Bussey remains scheduled to be in Knoxville this weekend with his father.

had the chance to talk to a certain individual on the team who spent time with KB on his UOV who told me "not to worry on Kendall" and that they frequently text about the vols


hoping this means he's solid

I like Jack Jones to come in and take a spot. Even being rated as high as he is. I think he's still underrated...

However, the only way I *could* see the staff letting him go is if Paulk were to be re-instated and another position of need player wanted on board that regularly the numbers may not have worked out for.

This is my opinion. The staff does really like KB though.

Texas A&M 247 says he will announce his decision at the end of the week after his visit. Their fans seem confident, but I have to think after he visits we will be fine.

Their fans seem confident because their recruiting guys are making a big deal out of nothing and providing them with false hope.

Nothing to see here, Bussey is all Vol.
