Another very good option if Woods can not get his issues in order.
With everything going on with Woods right now and the possible grade question, you would take JJ over him right now.
Totally agree drop woods add McCleskey. I'm sure he plays better talent week in and week out being from LA. Plus I like his versatility could play slot, outside, or even move him cb.
Covington (La.) St. Pauls receiver Jalen McCleskey will camp at LSU on June 9 and it will be the first of several camps the three-star wide out attends over the next three weeks. The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder will follow LSU up with Southern Miss (June 10), Oklahoma State (June 14), Florida (June 18) and Tennessee (June 21), along with a trip to South Florida in July. South Florida, Southern Miss and Air Force have offered McCleskey and his 247Sports Crystal Ball currently is split with one pick each for Tennessee, Tulane and LSU.

@MikeDetillier: 1 of the underrated LA players WR Jalen McCleskey-St. Paul's /Cov. & son of @JJMcCleskey, ran a 4.40 40-yd dash & posted a 38 1/2 vert @ LSU
Seems unlikely IMO. I mean we are good at WR, especially after Bruce committed. I could be wrong but I would think if we are taking another WR it would be Jefferson or someone a little better. I am no expert though so take my thoughts with a grain of salt.
Hyams reported Jalen McCleskey is still weighing his options (per JJ), and since he is only sixteen, is open to grey shirt. Also relayed some impressive stats for him, but I was listening at work, so I can't quote them.
