'15 MI RB Michael Weber

While Bussey is a great option, with his injury I just wonder if Michael Weber has said anything recently about where he may visit?

Up 33 spots to #71 in Rivals 100.

Helmholdt says he is a complete back who can run w/ power between the tackles, speed to the edge, and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Said he makes big plays in big games...had 404 rushing yards and 5 TDs in a playoff win.

"look for multiple Tennessee coaches in Michigan later this week as the Vols try and get a visit out of Mike Weber and John Kelly."

Maybe we are taking three RBs, two out of the state of Michigan. I would approve. Weber is the real deal. Don't know much about Kelly.

Huge uphill climb at this point IMO. Weber just put out his top 5-6 and Tennessee was not in it.

again...

He put out that top 5-6 before UT started making contact with him.

Yes it's still a long shot but he is more interested than you think and likely to visit.

Well with losing the one RB at beginning of the year we need RB depth. Never too many RB

Why take a package deal when you have Reid committed, Love/Bussey as likely choices, and Vaughn in our backyard? I just don't see room for all that especially being that were in in so many other good ones.

I agree. UT's coaches may visit with Weber as IMO he is a big time RB. Early on Kamara and Weber were my choices. Once we got Reid I had hoped to add Kamara and roll with that. Would I trade Reid for Weber today? Of course, especially with Reid taking visits. Not being in the kids top 6 tells me it's Love, Bussey, or Vaughn. IMO Bussey is about to come off the table to A&M so we'll see. As I have said before, I'd take Vaughn over Love now.

I think Reid is heading to Georgia.

I hate to say that. I love Reids game.

I do as well. Would have loved to seen UT get Kamara and Reid in 2015. IMO it would have solved some problems in the run game. Just have to see how it plays out now.

If UGA has to poach a RB last minute out of our stellar class I suppose I'm ok with that. I'll be surprised to see Richt there much longer. He's basically Phil Fulmer 2.0 atm.

My how the mighty have fallen..

Tis the season of Cruiting drama.

I will say though if the staff visits him then I think he'll stay.

Imo, We're holding out for Love. Bussey is the backup plan to love and Vaughn is the backup to Bussey. We want three backs I dont know why but we do.

Best case We get Reid and Love

Worst Case we get Weber and Vaughn.

No. Weber is an absolute take over all considered, but I don't feel like it's worth taking a package deal to get him. I'd rather take a guy nearly as talented with just as much upside and use that other spot for I dunno, maybe an offensive tackle or another position of need?

We aren't in high demand for mid-tier athletes.

That's what I meant.

And doesn't it feel good to say that. Recruiting has been electrified since Butch took the Helm.
