Weber was virtually unguardable during the one-on-one period. The Rivals250 member is extremely agile and can change directions on a dime. Weber ran extremely crisp routes and had very good hands. He wasn't afraid to take on the bigger linebackers that tried to knock him off his routes. Weber's ability to turn a short catch into a long reception is outstanding."

Mike Weber RB, 5-10/205, Detroit, Mich.

The Detroit product has made his way south several times now to visit the Vols, including earlier this spring when Weber and several other Cass Tech products visited Tennessee. The Vols are in the mix with several Big 10 schools, including home-state teams Michigan and Michigan State, as well as Wisconsin and Ohio State.

Weber plans to make a Florida swing this summer and don't rule out him visiting the Vols once again, but the Big 10 teams have made him a priority and it will be tough to get him out of the Midwest.

Would not mind it a bit if this kid found his way to being a Vol IF the staff is taking 2 RBs. He would be in my top 2 backs we are in on.

He reminds me of Mark Ingram with his combination of balance and a powerful low center of gravity but with a little better speed. I'd take that all day err day.

He's one of my 3 favorites in this class as well. There's not much he doesn't bring to the table with his skill set, the only "weakness" to his game is that he doesn't have elite speed (and don't get me wrong bc I know he still has very good speed) if you can really call that a weakness.

TomVH: Sun 06:58pm RB Mike Weber told me he does have a top 3 within his top 5. Ohio State, MSU, Wisconsin but Michigan and Tennessee still in it.

I did think very early on Michigan State would be where he ended up. I think them taking another RB a while back may have helped Weber decide to play in Ann Arbor instead of East Lansing. Still a very good get no doubt.

Whether it was state or in Ann Arbor I never did see the kid leavin the state. That's where the sarcasm come from. But I agree a very good get, woulda liked to have had him in orange, but we should be in good shape at that position.
