If he is indeed 290+, not at all. DT is the only thing that makes sense unless he looks like he could play OL. I'd think he would be a very athletic DT.

The LEO defense actually has one end playing the 3-tech, or what a 3-4 end would typically play. So he would fit. But we'll probably just use one of our big SDE's at that spot, like Hendrix.

If we are going to have a 341lb athletic DT, why not a 290+lb athletic SDE. (sorry forgot the blue font)

In all seriousness though, I was able to find 2 DE's at 290+ that currently in a 4-3 scheme at an extremely high level. Leonard Williams at USC (doubles at DE/DT), and Mario Edwards at Fla St. So it is possible. I would also imagine that Robert Nkemdiche(sp?) at Ole Miss will end up about that size. I know they are all freak athletes, but with Roseboro's frame if he still has anywhere close to his 4.7 40 time, that would make him faster than some of the DB's we have started in recent years.

Roseboro sets the date

Lincolnton, NC (Lincolnton) DE Darian Roseboro plans to announce his school of choice August 29th at 2:30. Clemson remains in his Top five. Roseboro will also be in attendance this weekend.
