If they truly want to play together, could it not be said that UT needs Tuttle to get Dalton?

Considering the latest reports on Shy and UT (momentum supposedly in the Vols' favor), I would guess CBJ would have something else to offer Jalen if he chose Knoxville.

That could be true, if they want to play together. Seems as though the guy that reported it is a major unc homer.

Is that the guy who reports that UNC leads for just about all the major recruits considering them?

If yes, then I have to wonder if Tuttle may have as much or more desire to play alongside McKenzie as he is reported to have about Dalton.

Some other posters here say he went on a unc.lock spree last year even with paulk.

I think getting to play along side of kmac is.worth its weight but if he truly intends to play with Dalton then it wont matter.

Yes, it is the same guy and I remember hearing that McKenzie's commitment was a major part of what turned the tide for Tuttle.

Better package deal.

If they want to play together, then you have to like our chances with both. I have no reason to doubt Shy isn't a VOL. He's been full pressed by CBJ and this staff for a very long time. If we were to land Dalton with Shy, and that's a BIG if, and then were able to land a JuCo CB like Martin, etc, the NCAA better be put on notice because UTs nasty defenses are about to reemerge. :rock:

At one point, UNC was confident they were getting Dalton and Tuttle because they were a "package deal."

So it's clear they want to play together, just how much remains to be seen because if it happens anywhere it looks like it will be UT.

Our Defensive line is gonna dominate!

Dalton, Butcher, Hendrix, Barnett, and Verren at DE.
Tuttle, McKenzie, Picou, Sawyers, and Mixon at DT.

Great depth and talent.

You are also forgetting J. Miller, Danny. O, L.Lewis, J. Henderson, Ford, and possible Jackson. Even if we don't get Dalton that's a great job by this staff to get that much quality depth in 2.5 years, while also developing the depth that was present when they arrived.

Lets see! Almost every recruit which is mentioned on here is a Ohio State lock. I don't believe that Ohio State can sign 47 players this year, so why don't you cut the crap?

Some fans on here swear "room will be made for the higher rated kids". I suppose the same thing could be said for Ohio State. With Dalton being very highly rated, maybe Oscar Meyer can make room.

I don't think OSU is actually in it. But I don't think UT is either. :p
