Lets see! Almost every recruit which is mentioned on here is a Ohio State lock. I don't believe that Ohio State can sign 47 players this year, so why don't you cut the crap?

Jeez. I'm pretty sure it was a reference to the "Jalen hard" line above and Hurd's recruitment.

Some fans on here swear "room will be made for the higher rated kids". I suppose the same thing could be said for Ohio State. With Dalton being very highly rated, maybe Oscar Meyer can make room.

I don't think OSU is actually in it. But I don't think UT is either. :p

Can't speak for other fans. But, this fan believes CBJ will make room for recruits that fill a greater need (no matter their ratings) even if that means encouraging a commit or two to consider other options.

Let's just say it will be interesting going forward to see what the staff considers to be greater position needs.

You are also forgetting J. Miller, Danny. O, L.Lewis, J. Henderson, Ford, and possible Jackson. Even if we don't get Dalton that's a great job by this staff to get that much quality depth in 2.5 years, while also developing the depth that was present when they arrived.

I know it was just too much too list.

Our Defensive line is gonna dominate!

Dalton, Butcher, Hendrix, Barnett, and Verren at DE.
Tuttle, McKenzie, Picou, Sawyers, and Mixon at DT.

Great depth and talent.

Corey Vereen is a player that doesnt get talked about much. Kid is going to be very good for us. He already is IMO.

Phillips would first have to develop a desire to want to come here, which he doesn't have. We are at best fourth on his list.

Ford is a redshirt, sit a year, and situational player his first three years on campus.

I also miss read the Jalen hard/Hurd post and did not notice who posted it at first because I was reading the post. As I get back here and realize, "we turned it up as of late". Was a GFW comment and the Jalen hard/Hurd was GFW POST AS WELL, it makes me inclined to believe we are seriously in the hunt for this Dalton kid. Also, by the same reasoning DR was closer to ole pi$$ than UT for momma, we would be close for Dalton's family as well compared to F$U. Really with the crap going on down their with their JW if a family has any concern about the people her son would hang out with then that has to be an issue. Pretty sure I saw somewhere that they were after this kid hard. GFW thinks for your input.

Definetly don't get rid of Ford. Ford is a freak athlete and I think he'll be a really good player after he has a year or two in the weight room.

There are others currently committed that the staff may not be as high on as they used to be.

To the poster about shy being committed, yes I think he has already given our coaches the commitment. Or at least enough info to safely assume he will be committed.

So...

With this new info...

Who do we finish with?
IMO we finish with Tuttle, Dalton, Sweet, Abernathy, Martin, 1 of Frazier or Love, Sapp, and another O Lineman.
Now, time for a more informed poster to correct me.

I don't think its the defensive players that need to worry. Smith, Ford, etc aren't going anywhere. This could get interesting now that Richmond isnt in the fold. Plan B seams to be in full force right now. Sit back and enjoy the show. We might even pull Coach Thig out for this one.
