I'm not going to pretend to know as much about recruiting as you do but I can't fathom turning away a DT...We may not get all 4 but that will be their choice not ours...The light at the end of the tunnel for this program is when we start recruiting this position well again and it looks like that starts tomorrow. I'm kinda pumped right now!

Vol. Only makes sense. Butch is part of his family now, and asked him to announce tomorrow to help with Gentry news. Butch knows all.

CBJ must have called up Sterling and said Volnation is freaking out bc Gentry committed to Texas you think you can commit earlier and while on the phone he sends a tweet saying looks like I'm gonna commit a lil earlier than I said I was. They talk about the weather, the upcoming season, Torrance Gibson committing to Tennessee this fall, and his dog named Roscoe. After a nice lil phone conversation and a few laughs CBJ says oh bout that commitment you care to pull the trigger tomorrow. Sterling says yes sir lets do this thang. He hangs up and sends another tweet saying looks like I'm commiting tomorrow......well that's how it played out in my mind.

I've said this before and I'll say it again...FSU had 10 DTs on the roster when Shanks and 2 others signed. We will take all four if possible for sure. DL spends a lot of gas in pursuit and rotation is a must.

This is going to be great I tell you. Two cycles of pulling in elite D-line talent this is a good trend we are experiencing. Shoot this is going to be a very good class.

I brought up the same thing a couple weeks ago in the Settle thread. I've never seen someone take four elite DT's in a single class, seems like a log jam could be created at the position. I do want for our DT's to be rotated but it just seems like a bit much.

I love taking as many lineman as possible though so sign them up!

That's a problem I can live with. This guy's 51 tfl has me very excited about his potential. I'd be thrilled just with him and McKenzie

I wouldn't be surprised to see half of this class filled with guys in the trenches...4 DTs (3 HS, 1JUCO), 3 DEs, and 5 OL. If so, then we have room for Kahlil, DJ, Sterling, and Settle. I think Kahlil's tweet about ending the process sooner is because he was told Sterling is pulling the trigger today, and he knows there will only be 2 spots for HS DTs left. Maybe the coaches want Kahlil to go public soon so that they can put the pressure on Settle to make a decision?

Looking at his offer list, how is this guy a 3* recruit? Something doesn't add up. Offers from us, Bama, OSU, Florida, FSU, ND, UNC, Texas, UCLA, among others.
