I don't believe all of those 4.3 hs times are legit by any means, but hs athletes are smaller and faster. everbody loses some speed as they bulk up to nfl size.

Did u really just say that hs athletes are faster than college and pro athletes?

IMO, Love is not a take today. I said before I did not see us taking a 6th RB over just 2 classes a little while back. Unless Kamara or Reid has a change of heart, they will be our 2 RBs for 2015. Do I think the staff just takes Love's commitment figuring it would push Reid elsewhere? No. IMO Reid better fits what we lack at RB right now. Our backs have gone down to easily the last few years. Reid can get us those tough yards IMO. Hurd has great speed. Scott has speed, Paulk moves really well. Kamara has SEC speed and then some. We have plenty of speed in the backfield. Reid brings ore of the hammer mentality. I'll take Reid and Kamara and focus on other more important spots.

I don't think there is any way we take 3 RB's. With that being said, I think Love ends up a Vol and Reid goes elsewhere.

I don't agree with your notion that we need a "hammer." Hurd is huge and Paulk is a bowling ball. Scott isn't a speed guy either. Kamara is a "speed guy," but he also weighs 210 lbs and will be an every down back by the time he gets to Tennessee.

What a great problem to have...

He ran a 4.3 at a different Nike SPARQ event. If you dont believe he ran a 4.3, then you also cant believe Cottrell ran a 4.3 since they were both recorded in a similar setting.

Exactly . He ran a laser 4.30 and NC a laser 4.35 at the same event. If Love's is bogus that means NC really runs a 4.5 something.

I'm curious why the comparison to Marlin Lane(212LBS) or Keith Marshall(219LBS)? The kid is maybe 175 soaking wet. Very different backs.

There are windows in your dorm, and bros outside. Like, its not your fault, if you imagine them soapy... and naked.

I agree but Scott is a speed/elusive type RB. Scott and Kamara will be our 2 HR type RB's. Hurd, Reid and Paulk will be the run over you RB's. Finally will be nice to have some RB's that can run over you and past you. Been a while since we have either of those from just one RB.

Hurd is just as fast or faster than either one of those guys.I think Hurd will be a threat too house one every time he touches the ball.

Wind aided?

No. It was also laser timed and not stopwatch. Sometimes people have off days. Who is to say he didn't have an off day at the latest SPARQ competition? Love has been one of the fastest kids since he was small. He holds some national records in track. He is very fast.

Love has built a good relationship with Tennessee and speaks with Volunteer Head Coach*Butch Jones, Linebackers Coach*Tommy Thigpen, and Running Backs Coach*Robert Gillespie.
At Florida, Love Speaks with Defensive Line Coach*Brad Lawing, Running Backs Coach*Brian White, Offensive Coordinator*Kurt Roper, and Head Coach*Will Muschamp.
The No. 6 All-Purpose Back in the nation for the 2015 class, per 247Sports Composite rankings, laid out his plans for July which includes voyages south to SEC country.
"I'm trying to get down to Florida for that Friday Night Lights thing," Love said. "I might get over to Tennessee, I think they have a second Orange Carpet Day.
The possibility remains for Love to take four or five of his official visits this fall, but there is a possibility his decision could come a little sooner than expected.
"Really it (his decision) could be after this (The Opening)," Love told 247Sports Ryan Bartow. "I just need to feel it out when I get to sit down, do my research, look into the schools, get to talk to more of the players on the team and ask them how it really is up there. Its a possibility considering the in-state schools. I could get over there and make a decision." He also wants to visit Stanford for a OV. I think its us, UNC , and Stanford. I left out OSU & ECU parts of the article they're irrelevant.

Not true at all. Sprinters hit their peak in there early to late 20s. There is no way a 17-year-old high school kid is faster than when he is 24-25 even if he gained some weight.

from that article you would think if he makes an early decision it would be to one of the instate schools. I thought Tennessee and Stanford were his top 2. I wonder if he would pull the trigger for UT at orange carpet day?

Agreed! If a kid peaks at 17 years old, then that kid must have ran on one leg for the rest of his life
