I think whichever of Love or Bussey want on the train first gets the 3rd RB slot. AK is already in and Reid brings a different skill set than Love and Bussey.

I disagree with Love or Bussey.


Love is a back that will get very minimal carries and I think he knows his role will be that. He will be like a Kenjon Barner at Oregon that gives you around 5-6 carries a game, but will rip off some big gaines.

You guys are underestimating Love. You can't just categorize a guy by his height/weight stats IMO. Travis Stephens was around the same height and weight and most people wanted no part of tackling that dude, 190lbs of pissed off intensity.

They divided up the carries very equally between Tebow, Moody, Demps, and Rainey.

Love and Bussey could be our Demps and Rainey while Kamara gets the carries like Moody.

In a perfect world that's what our offense looks like.

Reid's future is with another team. It is pretty clear he is a placeholder for Butch right now.

Kenjon Barner had 152 carries in 2011 for 939 yards and 278 carries in 2012 for 1767 yards. I hope Love is like Barner

Like I said Love could handle that amount of carries and so could Barner. But DAT got hurt if I remember and it forced Barner to get the majority of carries because he was just that talented.

Love could do it but with Kamara and Hurd it would be best suited for him to be a complimentary back.

Love is a quick, decisive runner who lacks size to project high as an every-down load-back but we feel he could make a nice complementary back at the next level. Has big-play speed and elusiveness and could excel in a creative role.
