So if Phillips were to chose the bayou buungless would their be the opportunity for love to replace perry? Reid is a keeper with the change of pace and quality he brings

No. We didn't take Perry to try to get Phillips. Had Perry not been injured, he'd be a 4 star prospect. As long as he's healthy, he's a take. The kid is really good. I think the only spot left for skill position players will go to Reid/Love/Newsome. Take your pick. Let the debate begin.....

I'm AAU Track coach and that 10.33 is not recognized by any organization because it's not legit.
(snip)...

I'm assuming you have limited experience when it comes to high school track meets/times and legitimacy.

I have limited experience. Are you saying he didn't run it or that it wasn't at a sanctioned event?

I'll take that article over an AAU coach on a message board. Whether it is recognized or not isn't relevant to me. 100m times by athletes caught taking PEDs are also not recognized in track and field. It doesn't mean they didn't run the time. If he ran a 10.33 at an invitational that is very fast.

Remy might be right on this. 10.9 is still plenty fast and i'm still hype.

No, he's not. Bussey ran a 10.33. It just isn't recognized, supposedly. It was hand timed, later "officially" accepted as a 10.5 per an interview with his track coach (wind aid deduction etc.)

That's just an assumption. His track coach said it was a 10.33 hand timed, added .17 wind aided. 10.5 is his PR per his coach. I'll take his coach's word.

Google works.

Anywhere around the range of the numbers mentioned in this thread is fast as sh**

We are arguing over a number that really doesn't matter. He's got legit track speed and great skills for our offense.

Coaches are the least trustworthy source for hand timed races. Look at the state HS football catalogs, 15 kids run a 4.4 40 on every team if you ask the coaches.

Bussey is plenty fast.

Agree with ya there GFW. But 10.3 and 10.9 are quite a bit different, which is what mr. AAU is pitching. 10.3 to 10.7 is really fast. 10.9 to 11 is slightly more common.

Lol the coach wasn't the one timing him at an invitational :eek:lol:

The coach was relaying the info about it going from 10.33 to "official" 10.5 after adding in variables. It was at a meet, not just during a practice like all the kids that supposedly run 4.4.

Bussey's PR in the 100m dash is 10.95 F.A.T. Not sure where that 10.33 came from but it's not a legit, legal time.

Bryce Love ran 10.69 at age 14 as a 9th grader and 10.68 at 15 in the 10th grade which was the last time he ran the 100m in a track meet.

Bryce also ran 4.30 at the SPARQ event in Washington DC in the Spring 2014 at age 16.

He ran for 2,308 yards this season with 11.2 yards per carry.

All 13 of your posts have been in the Love thread.

Who are you?

Well keck if that's the case for one last spot for one of the 3 you listed give me newsome.. Can really add to the teams (ST) game for us.. Although I have Reid a close second due to the diversity he brings to the backfield and Love third with what Perry seems to be firmly locked in

Westside, that you? You clearly speak with the conviction and tone of WS when speaking of Reid.

Does it really matter, do you get a cookie if/when Reid decommits?

There is no prize. Your opinion is based in other peoples opinion, only difference being you pay for that opinion and this gent forms his on his own. Are you arguing for the sake of an argument?

We know your opinion on the subject, it's clear as day. Move on with your life and quit getting heated over this, you'll live longer.

Don't subscribe to any pay sites, I'm strictly VolNation, so not sure where that's coming from.

And lol who's getting heated? I typed 2 sentences and you responded with 3 paragraphs... rustle easy?

Love > Reid

That's like saying a Corvette is better than a Ford F250 4x4. Two totally different backs that are highly effective in situations that fit their capabilities.
