I think we're saying bye to Love once Bussey committed.

These kids need to realize UT is a big time football program and if they are even given a sniff they better jump on it as we will have no less than 3 other options at most positions. In other words...You snooze, you lose.

I'll trust the coaches but I'm thinking Love will be their choice over Reid. Speed is just something that you cannot teach, you can improve it some but it's there or it isn't. You get a gap, a crease or any opening and Love is taking that play to the house, with Reid you're probably getting some yards but not that explosive play.

Not really. Reid has 432 carries this year for 3355 yards at 7.8 yards per carry. Love has 206 for 2304 yards at 11.2 yards per carry. Reid has more than twice the amount of carries as Love. Love was at close to the same amount of yards per carry his Junior year as well.

What do we need that Reid has over Hurd, Kamara, and Bussey? This team needs as many explosive playmakers as it can get and Reid isn't that guy.

If and probably when Hurd gets injured we do not have another bruiser.

If and when Kamara gets injured we have Bussey who is also a speed demon and Perry who is also a speed demon.

So while some may think Love is better than Reid, I think our small, limited minds are not capable of making that call right now with any degree of accuracy so to break the tie you go with skill set.

That's how I see it. That's the news and I am outta here.

Yep. Reid is a guy that defenses won't want to see in the 4th qtr. I like pounding the rock with a big versatile back. Reid isn't slow either.

I'd take Love as well but I think our current needs will lead is to taking Reid.
