'15 NC RB Bryce Love

After looking at their films I disagree. IMO I would take Reid over Love.

I tend to agree. The kid has proven durability. He knows how to take the team on his back and produce. Love is a good back but looking at the future and knowing injuries can come at any time it's nice to know you have a horse ready to carry the load on the sideline.

Well keck if that's the case for one last spot for one of the 3 you listed give me newsome.. Can really add to the teams (ST) game for us.. Although I have Reid a close second due to the diversity he brings to the backfield and Love third with what Perry seems to be firmly locked in

Well, MoB, that'd be my choice as well.

I have limited experience. Are you saying he didn't run it or that it wasn't at a sanctioned event?

Bussey ran 10.95 at the Louisiana State Meet....which is VERY fast for a 200+ pound RB.

For reference, an 11.00 F.A.T is comparable to a 4.40 guy in the 40 yard dash. Being that Bussey ran 10.95, he probably has 4.38-4.39 potential. Obviously, some guys are faster starters and run the 40 yard dash better than the 100 meters and vice versa.

FYI....I think Bussey is a great pick-up. The point of my posts is to explain that he's not as fast as Love......but then he really shouldn't be as Bussey is 205 and Love currently weighs 185.

Bussey is more of a Maurice Jones Drew type.....while Love is more of a CJ Spiller type......can't go wrong with either. When's Love's complete senior film comes out you guys will see the CJ Spiller comparison.

For anyone that has a Rivals account....check Love's 90 yard TD run in the North Carolina 4AA Semifinal game against Garner. Several analysts that have seen him play in person this year state that he's the fastest football player on the field that they've ever seen in person. Again, check his Rival's profile for the 90 yard TD run against Garner to see what an electronic 4.30 looks like on the football field.

I'm assuming you have limited experience posting when it comes to High school or college football!

Thanks for the input... We all know track number can be deceiving, but it is still fun to speculate and discuss

Thank you for the info... I agree with your comparisons for both athletes

Can anyone comment on Love's abilities as a receiver compared to Bussey's. Would it be out of the possibility for Love to fill a role similar to Percy Harvin at Fla, finding ways to get him isolated where he can use his speed for 3-4 impact plays per game? Not saying that would be the maximum touches he gets, just hoping to get that kind of productivity. I remember the impact PH had in the Super Bowl last year, and I think we could make use of both Love and Bussey if Butch wants both.

He's a very good receiver out of the backfield and can also line up in the slot. Very versatile player.
