'15 NC RB Bryce Love

I understand academics are important. Perhaps competing against the best students in the field is what drives his and others' boats. If it does, great. If it's about personal growth and achievement without dependence on the institution opening the doors, well that's something else altogether. We will soon see. There is more than one path to fulfilling one's potential.

Agreed there however I believe part of that responsibility is also on the athlete. They should have known classes are part of college and the could have attended.
I doubt love ( much like Dobbs) would allow himself not to go to classes. So to me it's a mute point.
Truth is you get out of school what you put in. You make it what you want.
I think he can get a good education at any of these schools. But to deny the UNC excells academically is foolish. If the athlete choses not to take ownership of his education, it is on him, at least in part.

For someone who claims to be well educated you're sure acting dense with statements like these. UNC is a fine academic institution... but to say the relationship between the AD and academics is tarnished is to put it lightly.

You waited 9 days to "internet punch" someone?

I was thinking the same thing...except I never spoke at all about the relationship between the AD and academics. I frankly think it was an atrocity!
I am surprised we aren't hearing more about the scandal.
I personally think the NCAA loses all credibility if it fails to act if the rumors are found to be true.

Irrelevant at this point, I'm afraid.
Not meaning to be dense, but I'd be willing to bet he's going to be heading to Stanford.
Means we have extra room for two ot's now!😛

Agree with you here. Sure seems Stanford bound. If so, best of luck to him.

Stanford IMO. If education is his number one priority in thinking Cardinals being it seems as if he was blown away by the academics at Stanford. I know that our coaches and academics put on a good show but I really don't think we lose either way with Lewis or love.

I understand he is interested in engineering and a lot of our engineering curriculum will match up with anyone.

Paul said he loves Stanford but he is going to give TN a fair shot this weekend to sell our academic/football mix.

We need Dobbs to host this one badly.

I can't even be upset if the kid chooses Stanford. He just seems like a good kid that has his priorities straight in choosing a school. Most of these kids are choosing for football, this kid is choosing for a little of both and is actually serious about the academic side of it.

I would be pissed ... We need him
