I love UT and glad I went to college here but if I had the chance to go to Stanford I would not pass that up.
I would! That place is Tree Hugger U, and I wouldn't want that on my resume!!
If he's really serious about his education, he should consider the U.S. Naval Academy.
He would learn a lot of things there that he would never learn at Tree Hugger U!
your joking right??? you regard a degree from Navy higher than Stanford?? maybe you should put down that green leafy substance...
why not go to an ivy league school
There's nothing honorable about getting a degree from Stanford! There is honor in getting a degree from one of the Service Academies and continuing to server your country afterwards!
Stanford is the best school in the country now. Graduate from there with a degree in tech and you're set for life.
That said, I want this guy at UT.
We know what you are all about GUNNER. Nice picture of a gun for your avatar. Advocating the Naval academy over Stanford because there degree would be associated with "tree hugging".
Why don't you go club a baby seal and leave discussions on education to the educated.
Sounds as if there is rampant ignorance concerning the level of education available at our Service Academies
Yes, maybe you should check into it a little more, the service academies aren't that easy to get into. It's a very rigorous process and very competitive.
It's not for everyone. But, those that value honor, service and duty to their country should apply. Those that value a tree hugger mentality should look elsewhere.
