'15 NC RB Johnny Frasier

Per Hubbs

And Tennessee isn't finished in North Carolina in 2015 either. Obviously, there's the Tuttle announcement but the Vols are also going to host North Carolina running back Johnny Frasier for the Florida game we confirmed with Frasier earlier this week.

From what our amateur eyes have seen Frasier is one of the top tailbacks in the country, period. Even though Frasier has been committed to Florida State for some time he has also had his eye on Tennessee.

He let Tennessee know before he committed to Florida State that he wanted the Vols to continue to recruit him and that there was a good chance he would make an official visit. Now, the 'Noles are going to be tough to beat and the Vols will also have competition from other teams, but it seems like there's some legitimate interest from Frasier.

Kinda like us under Dooley?

I'm not sure if we do the promotional thing at least not on the scale UM does. We've had some home games that weren't sell outs. Michigan has a long string of home games going back several years that were sell outs but those numbers were kind of "adjusted" by basically giving away seats.

My point is when both programs are at their best, they're incredible game experiences...when they're not ?

I wish we would at least go with stadium seating (full chairs) like at the Titans stadium. No reason we couldn't, and if it drops our numbers, so be it. It would not only class up the joint, but it would make the gameday experience all the better. I always hated bench seats, and how fat folks can infringe upon your seating space.

I believe UofL is the only college stadium in the country that is 100% chairback seats. They added on a few years ago and double decked the entire horseshoe yet it still only has a capacity of 55k. It's amazing how much room chairback seats take up.

If anyone is interested about Johnny, he played against James Kenan, their conference rival and the defending NC 1-AA state champions, tonight. He had 213 yards on 25 carries and one touchdown, a 65-yard run where he literally ducked under a defensive end just past the line of scrimmage, ran loose for about 40 yards, dragged a JK defender from the 20 to the 10, and then ran over another one to get into the end zone. I'm sure it will show up on highlight reels of him soon. Unfortunately, Princeton blew the game. They were up 23-13 with seven minutes left and inside the JK 10, fumbled it away, then later botched a punt to give JK a short field, failed to field an onside kick and then gave up another score with 12 seconds left, losing 26-23.

They're off next week, and pretty much every team left on the schedule before the playoffs ranges from average to downright horrendous.
