I agree with you...a lot of recruits don't value that very highly.
Interesting...you don't think recruits are wowed by the stadium stuff? Perhaps it's just the natural results of having a huge stadium but almost every batch of quotes I see from a prospect's visit or commitment to Tennessee includes some variation of "huge stadium", "so many people", "so loud", etc.
Not when it's a matter of 10000 to 20000 seats...82,300 fans screaming vs 102,455? Loud is loud...Death Valley in LSU was deafening way before they reached 102,000...not saying our stadium isn't an advantage...but it's negligible IMO.

those who've never heard recruits talk about the big house, or FSU's stadium haven't been following cruitin' very long.
FSU's recruiting prowess, especially alumni weekend late in the season is second to none. they kill it.
I wish we would at least go with stadium seating (full chairs) like at the Titans stadium. No reason we couldn't, and if it drops our numbers, so be it. It would not only class up the joint, but it would make the gameday experience all the better. I always hated bench seats, and how fat folks can infringe upon your seating space.FSU's stadium is top notch. I will say that since 2009 Neyland has become a very elegant stadium on the outside. If we could just clean the entire campus up, make the buildings look a little more modern, and put some money into remodeling the inside of Neyland with new bathrooms, speakers, concession stands, etc., then UT would be one of the best places to watch a game when you take into account the mountains and river. I'm biased and already believe Neyland is the best sporting event on the Earth, but I think many other unbiased people would share that opinion with me if we did clean UT campus up and modernize it.
