Has nothing to do with sealing the deal. The Coach's are looking up to upgrade and apparently like Bussey over Reid. Hubbs and PFort have been hinting about this for a month. They have other RB's they like a lot more than Reid.

Brother I think he is a really good RB and underrated but apparently the Coach's like other guys better for this offense. Sounds like they want some homerun threats and guys who can get loose in space.

I don't get the impression from Fort and Hubbs that UT wants to replace Reid with Bussey. The impression I get is that Bussey isn't a take and are looking to upgrade from Reid.

Pretty sure I haven't read any bashing of Reid. Nobody has said he sucks or anything like that. He isnt looking around because of message board comments I guarantee you..

I've supported Reid's recruitment and agree with putting the kibosh on anything PERSONAL being posted against him...that doesn't include opinions on his skillset or fit in this offense. I think Reid could be the next great LB at TN, sign him up. We used to flip RBs to LBs all the time back when we had Chavis and Fulmer at the helm and if I recall correctly that is also when we used to win football games.

Our current offense doesn't need a big bruising back because we don't ever run out of the I formation or put lead blockers in the backfield. We need someone shifty that can shake tackles and get into open space. That being said, I miss the days of power football on the hill.

I want Reid to land somewhere other than UGA if we're not taking him. I don't think he will be a Vol but no doubt the kid wants to be and has seemed to be a class act through the recruitment. People are going to have differing opinions, some of those aren't going to set well with you, some aren't going to set well with recruits also but in the end you're not going to stop those opinions from being made. What's important is what the coaches think at the end of the day and recruits should put more faith in the coaches they committed to instead of merit into opinions on a message board.

Think about it: if a group of people were talking badly about YOUR son or daughter, would you be upset about it? I would.

While I know many recruits and parents frequent our site, I don't think they make decisions based on what some fan posts on a message board. You can find silliness from any fan base if you look for it.

I'd make the argument that if a statement from a couple fans of a particular school is in your top 200 reasons for deciding where to attend college, then you're doing it wrong.
