I actually think Bussey is similar to Reid but faster. Reid is taller but they both are around 210 and play physical. Love would be more of the scatback, get him into open space and watch him run type RB. Hell gimme all 3I but just don't see any chance in that. I just don't see any advantage to bringing in Reid with Hurd and hopefully Bussey in a few hrs.

I'm pretty sure we can win with any or all of them. Reid has been on board for a long time, though, so pair that with the logic of my first statement and I have to hope he sticks.

agree with the similarities in Reid/ Bussey. Its a fact that Bussey is the faster of the 2 also. I just don't understand the hoopla for Love other than speed which doesn't always translate at the next level. Love to me is a D. Scott type of player who would stay dinged up. I could be wrong this is only my opinion of him.

Love was less than impressive at The Opening as well. Not sure hes as fast with pads as people want to believe. Id rathet have Kelly from Michigan than Love.

VQ, and services like it, are for diehard fans. Given, Tennessee fans are notoriously diehard, but even with that said 85% of the people showing up to Neyland on Saturdays in the fall aren't aware of any of this recruiting tomfoolery. So it doesn't really matter what Hubbs and co. report. Most of it, unless he's intentionally being fed the info by athletics (happens occasionally), is just his best guess. The only people that truly know what goes on in conversations between the coaches and recruits are the coaches and the recruits. If they want a kid, they'll make it clear to them on their own. Why would a recruit listen to reporters - who most recruits find intrusive and more than a little weird - over the coaches themselves?

Well it looks like coaches have finally recruited over Love with the commitment of Bussey.

With Hurd, Kamara, Reid and now Bussey we will have a great looking Backfield! Hopefully we can get Paulk back.

How can we recruit over Love if he isn't a commit? Lol

Looking more and more like Reid is out. I like him but it looks like that's the case. Would there be a better RB class with Kamara, Bussey, and possibly Love?

I say we honor the commitment to Reid. If that sacrifices others that are not committed yet, so be it. I don't think Reid has been like Cherry courting every other program.

With the speed Bussey brings and if Paulk does come back then if we did take another I'd hope it's Reid. I'd like a guy to pick up 3rd and 1 to spell Hurd after he gets the 1st 9.

Honestly now that we have Bussey and how fast he is to go along with his size we would definitely be fine without Love. You are probably right his size has that potential to stay in the training room a lot.

Bussey and Kamara could do that. They are all the same size as far as weight and Bussey is very similar to Travis Henry in that he could get you a yard or get you 80.
