No way a great player named Rocky goes anywhere but Rocky Top. Who wouldn't play to hear the UT band sing your song 20 - 30 times a game?

Yeah, I think Butch and Co. could give a **** less what those guys do. He got snippy yesterday during the presser when someone asked him if they had done their research about Kamara's disciplinary problems at Alabama. He said "Yes we have. Have you done your research?"

I laughed.

Yes because obviously you want it out there that you're really not that interested in retaining a certain recruit or that you're in "trading mode" when it comes to a recruit. That coming from a reporter that carries any weight and is affiliated with the program is damaging to a player's recruitment IF the program is intent on actually hanging onto that player. But hey why would we want to make sure that information is right?

Again this happens at every school and imagine what they hear at an opposing teams Stadium on a Saturday? If they don't have a thick skin then they are in the wrong conference and sport. Not to mention an Ala, UF or fan of whoever can sign up all day as a Vol fan and talk smack. So if they can't handle it they have no business on message boards because unfortunately their are fans who will talk bad about a player. But guarantee it's nowhere close to hearing them cussed, booed or anything else in a stadium.

The difference is those fans are clearly the opponents, while we're supposed to be on the same team as commits.

So if Rocky is truly planning to EE he would be crazy not to come to TN. I mean seriously look at our RB depth chart and tell me he won't get snaps next year. This is about as deep as our RB depth is right now...

I'm going to overlook some interesting grammar and respond to the spirit of your question with another question:

So you're saying no big to "boo" commits on VN because sometimes our fans boo the players? Sure, might as well get them used to it..........?

P.S. I don't think we've booed our team since Dooley.

Thats true but if we get Bussey and Love plus reinstate Paulk then that's 5 RB's plus Abernathy transferring in. But GA would be dven worse to go to. He has offers from Wisc and Arky as well and those aren't bad options if you are a RB.Not saying I don't want him but if Bussey and Love are Vols I don't see Reid being in Orange next yr, especially with UT trending big time with Bussey today.

You may want to check yours as well..no big to boo? And that's so not true, you obviously haven't been to any games. There was booing during UF directed at our offense, that's just one example.

Absolutely. And getting booed by fans on the field with all your teammates is WAY different than message board posters talking about you being too slow, too fat, or too dumb to play for our school. Big difference.

I don't think we take Bussey and Love. They seem like very similar skill sets to me. Rocky on the other hand seems more of an up the gut punish opposing LB kind of RB. If Paulk doesn't come back which is now the rumor then I could see the coaches taking AK, Reid, and one of Love or Bussey. Bussey seems like he is ready to jump on board now so we will see in a few hours. I don't think Rocky should be concerned with us taking either one of those guys. He will be a EE and he will have a role in the Offense next year. JMO of course.

Reid isn't an EE anymore though if I remember correctly.
